Here's the latest update on shooters / Division. Match is filling up quickly.
Dan correct me if I'm wrong, but we have a couple large groups of shooters who just sent their apps in, and will be taking some of the squads we blocked off just for that reason, and I'm pretty sure we will be expanding the squad sizes from 8 to 10 very shortly.
Yes, We just got 5 applications in the same envelope plus another one. At least 2 more groups (one is supposed to have 10 shooters) have said they are sending in applications.

What is the cutoff number for registrations?
If we fill up all available slots on Friday, Saturday and Sunday we will have 300 shooters. Speaking of which, we do have plenty of slots available on Friday.
More good news. Brownells is now a stage sponsor. Please be sure to visit them: http://www.brownells.com/
They have been a true supporter of a bunch of matches.
All of the pistol have been ordered. We just got 8 XDM's in yesterday.
Cheely Custom Gunworks is working on the Open, Limited, Single Stack and Limited-10 guns and we have an M&P Pro for Production and a S&W 625 for the Revolver division. I can't wait to see what Matt comes up with.

Ordered mine.

After some consideration we have decided to take one of the pistols and raffle it off. The procedes from the raffle will go to the JR shooter program at Miami Rifle & Pistol Club. Tickets will be $1.00 or 6 chances for $5.00. So bring your money and help out our junior shooters.
I just sent Chris my latest shooters list. We now have 163 shooters for the match and we are still getting about 6 applications a day. You folks are making me proud!! Still, I would love to fill this thing up. If you have any local matches in your area be sure to let everyone know about us.

Freedom Munitions is now a stage sponsor.
Please be sure to visit them through the match web site.

Just a reminder. For those of you who don't want to shoot on Sunday and get blocked out of Saturday we do have slots available on Friday. We could probably take 30 people without any problems.

I'm thinking up borrowing a revolver for this match. With only five shooters and 2 guns being given away in each division those a pretty good odds.

Matt built 1 for the Ohio Championship last year that was fantastic. This year CCGW is our match sponsor and is building 4 custom pistols for us. How could you possibly go wrong with Matt building pistols for a match?
-
And making it up well!!!!
Just picked up three more shooters as of today. More importantly we picked up 2 more sponsors.
Freedom Munitions is coming on board with certificates and other items for our shooters. Check them out at:

Sig Sauer is coming back this year as a stage sponsor. They are donating 2 certificates for full size P250's. Visit them at:
In case you haven't been keeping track and my mind isn't total mush we now have 14 guns for this match including the 4 customs being made by our match sponsor.

Welcome to the forum.

I want one bad. As soon as I get the money I'm going to get one.

They sent me a copy of that episode. Man I need to lose some wieght. That camera added more than 10 pounds.
It was a fun match and I am already signed up to shoot it again.

Are you talking about a Glock cert or some other coupon?
-
Looks like a lot of space. Nice looking area to work in.
-
Wow you guys are relentless. If this is how it is 3 months out the match is going to turn into a UFC match.
-
Haha ... It'll probably be more the other way around!!!! As long as Chad doesn't show up we should prob. be okay!
Sounds like a party. Want to let the rest of us in on it?

Coach has thing for animals apparently.
-
Coach, You are just not right!
We are looking into having the tractor run shooters up and down the hill as well as to the back of the range.
You are right about the first part.
I was thinking pack animal like at the Grand Canyon but with this sport we are not going to be able to have that 250 lb limit. We will need bigger mules.
That and you couldn't leave you alone with one
SNAP!

I am not an expert by any means and my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt but 2 things concern me looking at the pictures.
The screw holding the hanger to the belt appear too long. Looks like you might scratch the hell out of your arm.
In my experience the more moving part you have on a piece of equipment the more things that can go wrong. If I bought one I would set it up the way I wanted it and loctite everything with the strongest loctite I could get.

Better question...Was there a pole involved?

Welcome from Cincinnati area.

I had the same issue with the grip tape. Got rid of it learned how to stipple. Now I have 2 types of stipple that I do and they both work great. I have done a half dozen for other shooters if your interested. Takes me about a day.
