  1. You are correct. The edges of the follower can get caught on the inside in the extension and what you posted can take care of the problem only AFTER you switch out the follower. I have one gray follower that I filed and dremeled the heck out of and couldn't make it work.

  2. I was unable to find any video. I assumed they were like any other mag spring change. After several punctures and lacerations of my fingers, I finally got the first one in. However, I'm only getting 16 rounds of 40 in the mag. This is the brass version. Anyone have any advise?

Also, does anyone have a magwell in stock that will work for the TF mags?

Overall goal is to convert my M&P .40 into a Limited gun.

I ran into the same issue and discovered that the new gray followers have a hump on them that prevents getting the stated # of rounds. If you use the old black flat follower you should be able to get those extra rounds into the mag. BTW....I tried to shave down the gray follower to make it work and it just won't.

  3. I didn't know where to post this so I'll add it here.

As some of you may know I was the MD for USPSA matches at MRPC for the last few years. As of today I am resigning my position. I have been dealing with burnout for a long time now and don't see my desire coming back anytime soon. I have no idea what will happen to the matches at MRPC only that I will not be a part of them. I wanted to thank everyone for the great times and I hope I will get back some of the desire that I once had.

  4. I've been off it since March and still have times when I really want a dip. I just think about the money that I am saving (or spending on shooting related items) and it is all worth it. Congrats on doing it cold turkey. I couldn't have done that. I quit using Chantix and it really does work.

  6. KC, Vogel, Todd Kunz and Corey Estill won the Cheely Custom ones.

You sure? I thought it was a blind draw for all the guns.

The Cheely guns on the table were for the Limited, L10, SS, open division winners

We had both! We had 6 guns (including the 4 Cheely Custom guns) for division winners. Then we had 6 XDM's that were randomly drawn for. One in each division. I have a list of the winners and will post it here tomorrow. First I have to get some sleep. I'm dead tired.

Thanks everyone for coming out to shoot with us.

  7. I'll come up for a little bit on Wednesday sometime around lunch or early afternoon to help setup. You guys need any extra screw guns, drills, etc.??

We can use all the help we can get.

sorry I had to bail on this fellas. Work called :angry2:

I hope to see many of you at the Indiana State Sectional and Indiana State SS/Production match

Please let me know if you for sure can't make it.

    Andy,

What time are you and Dave looking for us on Wednesday.

    Jay

    Jay,

Dan wants us to be there around 8:00 a.m.

    -Andy

....or whenever you can make it. Even after the stages are set up there is still work to be done.

  8. Chris/Dan, did you get me in the list yet (donation)? I can shoot any day, just let me know please. I'll be there Wednesday to help setup.

EDIT: Dan he will be shooter # 342.

    Thanks Chris.

  9. Attention Shooters

We will have several boxes set up around registration for raffles and donations.

One box will be for a gun draw and the procedes go toward the junior program at MRPC. The drawing will take place after the match and you do not need to be present to win.

Another box is a raffle by Freedom Munitions for a free CASE of 9mm ammo. This draw will also take place after the match and you do not need to be present to win.

I am putting out a box for cash donations to go toward support of this forum. Most of the people I shoot with belong to this forum and I think this is a good opportunity to give back to such a great resource. (Just don't tell Brian. It's a secret.)

The 6 guns that are to be given away in each division will be drawn for prior to the match. The winners will be notified at the shooters meeting so even if they shoot like crap they can still be happy about it.

The shooters meeting will take place at 8:30 am in the picnic area and the first shots to be fired at 9:00 am. The only difference may be on Friday. My intent is to start on time but stuff happens so I reserve the right to be wrong on Friday. ;)

We will have arrow signs posted on the streets leading up to the range to try to help you not get lost.

BBQ and other items will be available for lunch on all three days. The exact cost is yet to be determined but it will be around $5.00.

Water will be available around the range and the Boy Scouts will be selling other drinks around the range.

  10. Someone isn't listening.....We are not getting done at 7PM on any day. It is a typo!If we finish at 7 it means something went very wrong.

If the schdeule is saying that our last stage is scheduled to be shot @ 6:10P, and we're budgeted 50mins per squad per stage, doesn't that put us done at 7P or close to it?

Yeah, thats right, check the time stamp. Dog had to pee and I am a little loopy right now.

I am man enough to admit when I was wrong.....This isn't one of those times. :roflol: Just kidding.

You folks may be correct but only "TIME" will tell.

  11. Hey Addict. I'm not giving it out as a case. It will be given out a box at a time. Still 50 free rounds isnt a bad thing is it?

GIGGLE! I sure as heck hope so! Might be worth it to see some one try to hump one of those plastic bags with 20# of ammo tearing out the bottom though... :surprise:

Yep, It was even hard to get into the front door. UPS man HATES ME!

We have gotten a few cancelations but those openings are already filled with shooters looking for slots. I feel like I am running Nationals. This is so cool!
