  1. issue was resolved with adding more extractor tension, 5 different types of rounds tried with both brass and aluminum cases, no spring changed required
  2. going to try out the old spring next time I can get to the range this weekend, also seeing if someone local has a spring weight gauge to see if what I got are out of spec
  3. Assembly was done correctly so I know that's not the issue, I am going to play with extractor tension and then also set a new set of springs but I doubt wolff screwed it up, but its possible.
  4. Sorry failure to eject, same ammo and same spring rates from same manu wolff
  5. Yes complete/detail clean is done every time I swap springs, same spring weight, well lubricated, just random FTEs now both live and with snap caps now. The issue might be the extractor tension but I'm not really sure how it could get tighter with use but I'm not completely writing that off yet.
  6. Ive found that getting good with revo and hitting M has made my gun handling overall improve significantly. I haven't converted anyone fully but one guy in my area got a revo rig set up and un-frequently shoots it now. There used to be 1 revo, now 2 and sometimes 3 match/stages depending.
  7. I haven't had this issue before but wanted to get someone else's opinion. My 1911/45 was 100% functional, I changed the mainspring/recoil spring on the cycle I always do and I had a fail to eject every single stage last night. Extractor tension seems tight but fine, new spring length/weight seems fine, tried a new recoil spring this morning to test and same thing. Any ideas?
  8. Ive always been a fan of Springfields and putting a little money towards upgrades like grips, sights and internals, or just shoot it stock. You can save a lot and learn as you go instead of getting a headache budget gun that might work
