That's a great price. I'd jump on it. That's a $30 price drop from just a week ago. I bought my 1301 from Grabagun last week for $1,003. I put it through its paces last weekend, and it ran flawlessly.

^ This. My Nordic +5 mag tube extension arrived today along with a ShotMaxx watch (really looking forward to trying that out). My shotgun will be at the FFL on Monday, so I'm kind of bummed that I don't get to play with it this weekend, but it will get shot a good bit next week.

I just wanted to say thanks to all for their input in this thread. I just ordered a 24" model under the guise that it is a shorter, lighter, less recoil skeet gun for my wife seeing as she can barely hold up my 32" Beretta O/U. Honey, I bought this new gun for you. I just hope she doesn't question the +5 Nordic extension I ordered from Shooter's Connection. That one is going to be difficult to explain. I ended up getting it for $1,010 shipped. Is that a good price?

Luckily SJC is somewhat local to me. I'm probably going to give them my G35 soon to have a little work done on it. My Brownell's order of springs and other parts will be in today.

Well a lot of help you guys were... I couldn't make up my mind, so I got both. I've heard that's a familiar saying amongst many of the forums.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Like I said, I've been reading until my brain hurts. Now I've just got to decide which shotgun I'm going to use for 3-gun, but I guess that's a different thread.

Then I guess 34 it will be, and I'll just have to shoot all A's when scored minor. Thanks guys. That's the direction I was leaning.

This is my first post, so please be gentle. I have read hundreds of posts on this board but I haven't been able to come to the conclusion to my dilemma. I want to start shooting USPSA Production on Tuesday nights at a local range. Also, I'm looking at shooting some larger USPSA matches on the weekends. I will probably compete in Production class. I really want to get into 3-gun competition for 2007. Will I be at a disadvantage with the G34 at 3-gun matches? I plan on running Tactical Optical for my rifle in 5.56. Do I need a .40 for the pistol or are the pistol stages all scored minor like in Production. I know I can shoot lighter loads in .40 for Production, but I don't reload. So, G34 or G35?
