I am Brain Dead, I figured it out!
-
I purchased these (Henning Group Magazine Extension for CZ 75, Shadow 2 & Dan Wesson DWX Compact) part number H141-MC17 and am trying to install them on my new Shadow 2 stock Mags and they don't seem to fit. Are these the wrong ones? What am I doing wrong?
Help is appreciated

I had seen that the other day, I created the post LOL. Have not yet had the time to mount my SRO so....
-
Yes, from what I read there is no plug to replace the front sight and several people have said that they run their gun without a front sight and just the roll pin? I may just cut it down with a Dremel?
-
If you use this combo, is the front sight visible through the SRO?
Have you removed your front sight?
-
Seakphotog......
I wish I felt confident enough to attempt it myself. But after 63 yrs of hanging out, I know myself and in the long run, the money will be well spent with very little aggravation. And I am in no rush as I am still enjoying using my recent purchase of a LeadStar Prime PCC. So much fun!

LOL OpenB,
I am with you regarding I know nothing of the mechanics of this gun, but love shooting it.

I should find out if my sight interferes this weekend when I get the adapter plate and mount my SRO...
-
Andy9,
Did you remove it entirely or grind it down?
-
TY HesedTech,
You just made me realize that this Johnny guy posted in a negative way on my other post below. Unreal! He is stalking me LOL

My friend has an RMR with his front site still in place. It sticks up about half way in the windows, so yes I have shot one.
-
I think a total of 4 months from the time you contact them until completion is a little (HaHa) long! I sent my Ruger for a trigger job to Volquartson and there was no initial wait and they returned it in a week or so.
-
Thanks HesedTech. I too am going to use an SRO and the wait at CGW is months and I want to shoot it, that Dremel is looking better moment by moment.
-
Appreciate the reply, but I see no need to anything that might impair my view. My friend has an RMR on his and it comes 1/2 up in his view! I am leaning towards cutting if off with a Dremel at this point in time...

I just purchased a Shadow 2 Optics and want to remove the front sight. I read in an old post about grinding it down or cutting off with a Dremel. It also mentioned that there is no replacement spacer and that the gun should not be used without the sight or some kind of spacer.
I am looking for more input before i do anything!
All replies are appreciated...

I contacted Cajun Gun works regarding them installing the Pro Package and they told me I am on a waiting list of 6-8 weeks AND then 8 weeks in the shop....Unreal!
-
I am wondering if I should send it to Cajun Gun works for their Pro Trigger job, it's $400+. I am not mechanically inclined so.....But that seems expensive?

What is an FFIII for 8moa? I figured it out... Burris Fast Fire 3....LOL

I want to spend less than $200 and am using it for Steel Challenge only.

WOW, Quack. That is Great. TY so much and........................I just finished mounting mine and so far I have removed the red fiber optic. I may leave it that way or grind it down. I iwll have to see after I try it. Without the fiber, it is much less noticeable, but still in view
