  1. And I bought the 2nd one for a .22 AR no less....! LOL Costs half the price of the Gun and with the SRO on it too...$$$
  2. The stock is great! I just bought another one. Nothing moves, 100% top quality. Set it once and forget it. Is is not something that you collapse! Once I adjusted it, I never move it! Highly recommend!
  3. I am thinking about using a Crazy Ivan Comp Lite Chassis to build a Steel Challenge Rifle. I have see some discussion and just talked with Volquartson about the fact that their triggers sit back a 1/8 - 1/4 inch more than standard triggers, so I am concerned about a drop in fit> Has anyone had experience with this? All replies are appreciated in advance! Thanks, Roy
  4. Way to big and heavy, but thanks.....Crazy Ivans is getting better looking..
  5. Why not Wiland, no way to mount a fore grip or the waiting time LOL? What is "fire hand grip". I like the Crazy Ivans, but do not like the big M-lok. I want this rail, but not sure what it is or where to get it.
  6. I do not want an AR style rifle, but thanks.
  7. Here's a question for all..... And thinking twice about the Volquartson...Driving myself crazy...HaHa But Seriously. Do to physical limitations, I need a vertical fore grip. I thinking about the Wiland or Crazy Ivan stock, but do not know of a way to mount one. Does anybody use one and how is it mounted? I appreciate all the responses...............Roy
  8. I just hope I get the rifle as I do not se them for sale anywhere. I bought it online from Cabela's yesterday. It was on sale for $200 off no less!
  9. So i bought a Volquartson Ultralight and now have to decide on a Chassis. I am liking Crazy Ivan's. I need to be able to mount a vertical fore grip due to shoulder limitations...
  10. Thomas, I am looking for a reliable Gunsmith to assemble various available aftermarket parts to my specific liking. Someone who has done this before a few times specifically using a 10/22. I want to only shoot Steel Challenge with it. That's all. I break anything I touch...almost. Repairs/modifications that is.
  11. Yes, I shoot the Challenge monthly. Again, I am looking for a builder with experience for a .22 custom rifle build.
  12. I am aware of the cost, just looking for an experienced builder...
  13. I do not see that he builds rifles. All I found is him on Facebook and it appeared he is shooting a Magnum Research rifle?Do you have a link? Thanks, Roy
  14. I am looking for someone to build a .22 Steel Challenge rife for me. Any/All recommendations are appreciated. Thanks, Roy
  15. You should have just bought a LeadStar......................8:) I love my Prime PCC!
  16. I took out the fiber and don't even notice it with the SRO now!
  17. Hey Vince, I can relate...I had had a reverse shoulder replace on my left shoulder, now I cannot raise my arm above 90 degrees and it is week. Also had surgery on the other shoulder. Had the left kneE replaced last sept, getting the right one replaced May 3. Dropped dead of a heart attack in 2002, Had cancer AND I CAN GO ON.....3 BACK SURg BUT I JUST KEEP GOING...............AND WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH.............DILAUDID IS MY BEST FRIEND....lol
  18. I have an SRO on my 1911 & Shadow 2 and I reach over the entire SRO and grab the slide/SRO. If it can handle the recoil of shooting, then I think you can gab it any way that works for you without issue. My 2 cents worth.
  19. Thanks for the input HesedTech LOL.... I do have a local gunsmith for issues. Break? CZ's break? I have been using a Kimber 1911 .45 for 10 plus years and it has never broken. I hope the CZ is just as good or better!
  20. Hey OPENB, What exactly did you do last night? Did you remove the front sight and roll pin and put the pin back? Was it hard to remove. Any help is appreciated as I am not to mechanically inclined...LOL
  21. I talked with Henning and he told me that he has heard that some of the extensions will not lock due to being 1 or 2 thousands of an inch off. The tap of the mallet once or twice corrects the issue and the mag extensions stay in place and come off when you want them to. I was very impressed that Henning called me back within 1 hour to assist me.
  22. LOL 1) Take the Stk mag apart. 2) Slide the new extension in place to make sure it locks in place. 3) If it locks in place, re assemble but DO NOT use the spring stop that was in the rear of the original mag. 4) If it does not lock in place, place on a padded desk or the likes and then with a rubber mallet or simular, pound the back of the extension the slightest to make it set. 5) Test and put back together. Hope this helps.
