    Krebs Sti/Sv Magwells

    Just a heads up to our great customers, we have a few KREBS magwells in stock. They fit the hicap STI/SV pistols and fit the IDPA box. We have aluminum and plastic in stock. The magwells are new with magwell pin included. Call us toll free 1-866-300-1911 to order and ask for a new catalog.

    * WE TOOK IT TO THE MAX FOR THE 140MM MAG GAUGE

    We took the best base pad and made it better. How you may ask ? We sqeeked every bit of room there was in the USPSA 140mm mag gauge with this baby. It still has our great DP TOOL-LESS design stretched as long as we could. Tests have given us as many as 21 rounds in 40 cal. starting with 22 in the pistol, and we could speed reload with 20 in the mag.

    Be aware S.N.L. stands for "sometimes not legal" due to variations in mag bodies, so check your mag before the big match.

    DP M&P sights are available in Target, Optic or Tritium configurations (Target rear, Optic front shown).

    Front sights available in .100" or .125" widths

    Rear sights available in .115", .130 "wide" or the new "super wide" .140" rear notch.

    The .100" front and wide rear combination gives an excellent fast shooting sight picture, with the front sight appearing about half the width of the rear notch (depending how long your arms are).

    .160" tall DP front sights also available for factory fixed rear sights

    I fell in love with the Spartan after playing with it on the STI table at Area 4.

    The only thing I need to make it run is an ambi safety... rather than buy one and have fitted elsewhere, how much trouble would it be (and cost) to have it done? And who/where do I call?

    Any reason why you went with Fords over the rest? What is their turnaround time?

    I've been doing buisines for over fifteen years with the owner of Fords, Horice is a good guy, does good work. Turn around 2 to 3 weeks is normal. We chome a lot of pistols he does them all.

    We just got our father/daughter set of tuned Dawson Precision .40 Edges on Monday and they are working flawlessly. We've run approximately 200-300 rounds through them with no trouble. The fit and finish are top notch. Accuracy is real good. 5 inch handheld group at 25 yards. The trigger pull is about 3-3/4 lbs on both.

    Chet is correct, we have used Fords for many years. I prep the pistol here in the DP shop

    so it's ready for chrome when Fords recieves it. Prep is very important to finished product.

    The Super Tuned Edge package consists of a new STI Edge upgraded with:

    - The DP Enhancement package

    - Hard Chrome

    - DP Ice magwell

    - DP Fiber Optic front sight

    $2226 if purchased separately, $1999 in the Super-Tune package deal.

    The Enhancement Package is where Dave Dawson checks each pistol top to bottom for fit, function and appearance. We setup the breech face, extractor, ejector, mag release and feed ramp the same way we would a DP custom built pistol. Next we install a DP sear spring and tune the action. Then the pistol is test fired for flawless function, accuracy and zeroed at 25 yards. Hey if you were buying a Mustang how cool would it be to have Shelby tune it up a little first..

    We also handle any warrantee issues that may come up on these, so all you have to do is send the pistol back to us and we'll get it right for you.

    Accuracy is usually better than the stock Edge. The trigger pull will be better than a stock Edge. Give us a call and we can talk about trigger weights and other options.

    We can also Super-Tune Bar-Sto pistols for California residents.

    A place where you can talk about guns, shooting and all things, if it gave back rubs it would be perfect. Two out of three aint bad. This place has been calling to us so we had to come. Great job Brian and we are happy to be here.
