Bob,
1. You need to shoot at least 4 different classifier stages.
2. Yes!
3. .38 Super is good, and a very popular round for Open.
4. That would be a good start. Some matches publish stages online, you can set them
up without the extra props for more practice.
5. Used to be out to 50 yards, but that's not too common anymore. Average is about
10 to 15 yards, at least here in New England.
6. Not usually at the same match.

Thanks for the reply, I think you have answered most of my questions. A little back ground on myself. Live in NJ. Run the NJ Police Pistol Competitons for the entire State AKA PPC and have been furtunate to win the State Championship 3 times in the last three years. I feel that I am stalled at my shooting, think that something new might help. I did hope that targets would be shot out at 50yds, but I think I will give it a try. Thanks Dan
