  1. Does anyone know where we might be able to find kydex mag pouches for a Para-Ordnance P 14 45? If not does anyone have any ideas about how to make something that he could keep his mags in? Any help will be appreciated.
  2. SA Thank you so much, When I show up next month I'll have it with me. I have found that eveyone I've met in C-ville have been great. In April me and my husband went to check out another shooting sport (wont say what one) but the people were not friendly at all. Then we came up there and met some of you and your all real people just like us. Thank you for making us feel at home. Can't wait to shoot next month.
  3. Thank you all for advice; Tim shot his first match Saturday, needless to say we will be getting him a better gun. The Hi Point was not designed for this sport. Tim will be shooting a Para-Ordnance 1911 45 ACP; from here on out. Thank everyone for their advice. This was mine and Tim's first shoot. My Steyr M9 did just fine I wont be putting it on a shelf anyway soon.
  4. Our club only has 1 match per month, I went in June to watch my husband. I fully understood each stage that he shot. Yesterday as soon as we all got there and was getting in line to sign up, we seen the 3rd stage wow it had 15 targets no steel, they were hiding behind burriers. It seemed eveyone there was checking out that stage as soon as they got signed up. It was something else, I just knew I'd forget one of the targets; nope I forgot to shoot 2. They were standing up big and tall waiting to be shot and I was so worried aobut the small ones hiding. All and all it was I had a blast and can't wait till next month.
  5. I have been shooting for a while, I was having the same problem shooting my steyr M9 for one thing it has the triangle sights and I was using my sights wrong, you line them up just like any other sights. My husband put skate tape on the grip, that has helped me a lot. Another thing I was not standing on the balls of my feet I was putting most of my weight on the heels of my feet. I hope I was a help to you. I have my first shoot tomorrow and I'm a little worried. I have been practicing a lot and getting better. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NEXT SHOOT!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Does anyone know if my son would be able to shoot the Hi Point 45? It was not on the list.
  7. Thank you all for your advice. At the moment I have a steyr M-9 that I will be taking to my first shoot. I wanted some advice before I buy my next pistol.
  8. I'm looking for a 9mm that fits good in a small hand, that does not have a long triger pull on it. I was told a Glock but all of the glocks I've seen don't have a fully supported chamber and don't feed reloads well.
