Will the stages be published before the match?

When I started all guns were open guns. Still running the same gear.

On stage 2 I hope there will be enough room between the bones(sticks) for us larger shooters.
The stages look like alot of fun. -
I've had a Green Mountain bag since 92 or 93 and love it.I also have one of Chucks bags and it is great as well.

1971 Porsche 914. The three weeks out of the month it ran it was the most fun car I ever had. It ate a valve guide on a road trip and was blowing smoke so bad they wouldn't let me on the turnpike. One case of big V oil and some back roads we got home. Not only could you not read the rear lic plate, you couldn't tell where it was. Car wash and sale followed.

Get rid of the Tungsten guide rod. It is going to break, and at the worst time. I would add a magwell. Sounds like a nice gun, I hope you enjoy it.

Why not just make the can heavy? Say 45 pounds or so. Then let the shooter carry it however. 15 years ago, when we were still going box to box, this stage would have been a joke.

I have long believed that for a classification system to be accurate it needs to use major matches counting 2 or 3 times more than club shot classifiers. The current system gives you your max class. Use major match finishes even if they are 5% or more below current class.

Started in 1983 with the best gun I could find for $250. An Essex frame, Remington slide, Pachmayr grips, Bo-mar tuner rib extended, bad barrel, Rogers EZ load, and interall parts made from solder. I called it the Sledgehammer. Took off the Pachmayr grips and found it had tiger tooth stippling. Everyone who picked it up went "ouch". I learned to clear almost every type of jam thanks to that POS. After a year my wife bought me a Wilson LE and life got better.

I shoot the local match (20mi) that has 5-6 very good stages;sometimes a side match.
I try to make one or two matches 200 miles to the south that also have very good stages. I don't go 125 or 150 miles north because one club's stages look like they set up targets wherever they fell out of a truck; 
the other club makes you feel like a bastard at a family reunion. 
I have gone to a good club almost 400mi one way. The last time down I got there just in time for the rain to hit; ended up having a nice shooters dinner and headed home.

You can always tell a Texan; just not much.

In open you need to shoot clean (60pts) in 5.01 sec to hit 100%. Has anyone really done this? Spent 45 minutes looking through scores best I found was a 91%.
Or is this one of those made up high hit factors?

9 years old shooting an army colt in 38 special with my grandfather.
And sometimes his baby browning in 25auto.

If we have to tell shooters 1 comes before 2, we need smarter shooters. The shooter screwed up and then compounded the mistake.
At our last match a shooter drew his gun before LAMR downrange in a safe manner, but the RO had no choice, DQ. Shooter said" my mistake, see you next month." Same rules everywhere is the only way to go.
