    GP100 Problem?

It's a 3 inch Model 10. Fun gun. Very Nice. Both my son and I have shot a 4inch Model 10 at iCORE. It will get the job done. thanks, whw

    GP100 Problem?

Hello Everyone, Thanks for the feedback. I disassembled the GP100 this morning and found an abundance of grease on the yoke and in the frame. The yoke was so tight that I had to push it out with a punch. Removed all the grease and applied a light coat of FP-10. Everything works perfectly now. Thanks again for the advice. whw
  5. Hello Everyone, I would sure appreciate some help. Immediately after removing the GP100 from the safe last night, I checked to make sure it was empty. I pushed the cylinder release and tried to roll the cylinder out of the frame. I was met with some resistance. It was like someone had custom fit the yoke to the frame. I pushed the cylinder out half way and then held the gun at an angle where the gravity would open the cylinder the rest of the way, but no go. It just sat there. I opened it the rest of the way and tried to close it with a snap of the wrist, and it wouldn't budge. (A much needed disclaimer here-- I never close the cylinder with a wrist snap for fear that I will in fact bend the yoke. I just tried it because I was certain it wouldn't close.) Does anyone have any ideas? I'm at a complete loss. The gun has just been sitting there for about a month. Planned on using it this Sunday at an iCORE match, but I may have to go to plan b. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. whw
  6. whw, a tremdous disadvantage? No, a disadvantage, well..how much has the competitor practiced with the Comp III's? How much have you practiced with the Comp II's. Just having the Comp III's does not make the competitor better. I do better with the Comp III's than the Comp II's because I practice more with the Comp III's. Whup up on em with what you have. later rdd Thanks Bubber, I practiced with the Jet Loaders, but they went to my son along with the Model 10 I had been shooting. Pricing for the Jet's are about twice as much as Comp II's, and I'm trying to save a little money. Since I'm going to have to buy new, I wondered if anyone saw a great disadvantage to the Comp II's. The Jet Loaders were great. Thanks for your thoughts. whw
  7. Is a shooter at a tremendous disadvantage using Comp II's when shooting against competitors using Comp III speedloaders? thanks, whw

    What to read?

How much is Zen applied in Brian's book-- Beyond Fundamentals? Would that be a good place to start?
