    Recoil Springs

Need some information on recoil springs. Has anyone had any problems with ISMI recoil springs fitting on a lightening strike guide rod? This is on a Glock 17, ordered a lightening strike stainless steel guide rod with reduced power ISMI spring, and the springs will not fit on the guide rod. Any information is appreciated.
