Thanks for your reply! Thats great that i can swap them, i kinda figured i could. The only thing i would need to know now is whether i would need to change the hammer and trigger to accomplish that. I know that depends on whether those parts are double action capable...i can do that either way but i'd like to have an idea what is involved before i get the pistol.

I'm very interested in buying a Tanfoglio Witness Hunter in 10mm. The only thing holding me back is i specifically want DA/SA not SAO. I understand the actions work essentially with the same parts, so I wonder could i add the interruptor to give it double action, or would it require more modifcations? I'm not even certain the hunter model has the same parts as the standard witness, but it seems probable. If i can put a witness interruptor in it that would be outstanding! If this isn't possible, or is highly impractical please let me know. If it is possible, please give me some details! I've never owned or handled one of these so i don't know their inner workings.
