Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. You see this sometimes with incorrect start position and RO continuing with commands. It's ultimately the ROs fault because "Make Ready" should be re-issued if the competitor is in incorrect start position. Even though it's technically the ROs fault if the competitor is allowed to shoot the course they MUST re-shoot. In this case, let's say the RO was thinking it was only supposed to be a procedural, so he allows the shooter to continue. At the end of the course he is told that it is not in fact a procedural but should have been a stop + re-shoot. Despite it being the ROs fault, you must still re-shoot. If you refuse to do so you will be marked DNF on that stage.
  2. 8.3.4.1 & 8.2.2 both deal with this. Ultimately YES it MUST be re-shot.
  3. Definitely not downrange, but definitely stupid positioning. Any 180 call that doesn't sweep him will be a bad call as it will be a 50% call at best, way below the threshold for when a DQ should be issued. Absolutely nobody can call a 180 on a non-sweep from that position. I 100% agree with Troy's analysis.
  4. Okay cool, glad to see it is so clearly addressed and glad I'll be able to run a magnifier set-up.
  5. Was looking into USPSA Multigun Heavy Metal Tactical Division and was wondering if "Maximum of 1" optical sights would allow EoTech Holo + Magnifier, or if the magnifier and sight would be considered two "Optical Sights"
