Yes it will. I have the oem extended safety on the left side of my shadow 2 and I’m using an RHT double layer holster for it. The safety is far back at the rear of the Gun and won’t even contact the holster.

    Heres a couple of pics.

I wish I could get my hands on a holster!

Will the RHT fit the OEM extended safety on the S2?  I just ordered a holster from them and was about to switch out the safety.  Didn't even think about it being a possible issue.  The OEM is certainly not as big as the Nitrofin.

I'm sure it would, all the other holsters do

  3. Anybody find a good competition holster for the shadow 2 with slide stop thumb rest?

I was going to use it at a match this morning and forgot to check if it fit my holster lol. Definitely doesnt. Maybe I can dremel it.7a07d6cd6e551011321d5bb36834f3f6.jpg

  4. Does anyone know if a CZ Shadow 2 with an Eemann Tech slide stop with thumbrest will fit a Red Hill Tactical holster made for a Shooting Sports Innovation slide stop with thumb rest? I have an Eemann Tech but having a hard time finding a USPSA Carry Optics legal holster that will accommodate it.

Did you find a holster? Just put my slide stop rest on and now I'm searching for a holster.

That is a nice looking blaster.

Thank you. Only put 500 rounds through it so far but with a green dot I'm really loving it. Too bad ammo is so expensive now

Well it sounds like it's a 6-8 week turn around the get the slide cut for the plate anyway. So the plate being in stock now or not may not matter much.
Took almost ten weeks for mine and it was done few months ago.

  7. Now I see what you mean by the gap. It is kind of ugly but not a deal breaker.
Honestly other manufacturers make plates with a fill in piece in the front. Not sure why czc doesnt. But you have to use their plates with the rds cut.

  8. The plate system has its advantages, I just don’t like how it looks with the gap between the front of the dot and the slide.

I realize this is necessary to make it work with all of the different dots but just doesn’t look right to me.
Just look at it from an angle hahha. I hated it too but after shooting it its so much fun doesnt bother me anymore.26fd709143dad31c669814fec4440d2b.jpg477b26ab73899376c8dfbb2c21b10755.jpg

  9. I have both, milled and plate. I like the plate better but only because I switched optics. Now I have a perfectly working slide with an optic I don’t use.  Both work fine but the plate allows you to change your mind.
Especially with all the new dots coming out. You never know what you might want.

  10. I have had milled slides and they fit better but if you cross thread or sheer a screw off you might need a whole new slide. I went with cz plate system in my shadow 2 but there is an ugly gap. Functions perfect though, and dot height is great. Some say non milled puts the dot too high but not in my case.

  11. This isn't for me, this is for my girlfriend, she doesn't like the Lol grips, neither do I actually, she has small hands and runs thin aluminum on both her Shadoww and Shadow 2s with extremely aggressive Vicious skateboard tape. I used to have a template someone posted before, for Shadows and it worked great but I lost it when my computer crashed. Given that the tape is quite stretchy when heated up for application it works across all different grip sizes and even the slight frame differences on the Shadow and the 2. Just can't remember where I got it.
I would imagine a set made for an sp01 wouldnt be far off from the shadow 2 fit

  12. Yea that's what I was thinking. I've been shooting Limited minor as I start out and it just feels comfortable and always gets my safety off. I plan on moving to CO so no safety but I think I am going to still use it.
It's at the point that I want one for my double stack 1911 but cant find one that feels as good.

  13. What does off roster mean?
In CA there is a list of guns approved for purchase to the public they call the roster. In order to be on the roster gun manufacturers have to pass lots of test, pay lots of money, and were required to do some kind of laser bullet engraving tech that doesnt exists lol.

Most manufacturers didn't want to do this so our choice or guns are limited to very old models or basic versions.

Police officers and certain people are exempt and can purchase off roster guns. That's who I bought mine from.

I believe the roster expires jan next year though so who knows what will happen.

If it was stolen from a Californian, ouch for the guy that got robbed.  I read about a guy paying almost $2500 just to get one there.

Unfortunately that's 100% accurate out here, off roster CZ's go for a crazy amount it's not uncommon to see S2's for double the retail price and TSO's for 4k. What's even crazier is that people actually pay that price for these guns in Cali.
Yes and yes. Mine was about 1800, my friends got theirs for 2500 and 2800. The ONLY good thing about it is if we were to sell them we would get 90 to 100% of our money back.

In CA we gotta pay to play. But like everything else I heard a rumor off roster will not be transferrable very soon so I'm keeping mine forever.

  15. I have a shadow 2 slide being fitted right now for the cz bushing. Only reason is I wanted a pho shadow 2 orange since I cannot buy one.

I have a 10x bushing sitting in my room waiting to be installed on my original slide and I'm sure it will be a tighter fit. I already tested fitted it on the barrel and can feel the difference.

I will find out soon but I'm just crossing my fingers it's as tight as the 10x.
