I was having a similar issue. I changed out the spring that advances the wheel that the primers move from the tube to the priming station and have not had that happen again

is it the spring that goes on the metal claw that goes into the primer holes to advance the wheel right?

if so, that spring is somewhat new. I changed it out a few months ago but not sure if this is wat you’re talking about.

I had issues similar to that but it was related to the tension of the little gate thingy that holds the case in position 2.

You mentioned you have aligned everything with the alignment tool, but it may be worth changing the tension on the gate to see if your issues go away.

    Is it crimped brass?

how do you change the tension on that?

That makes sense a little. I’ll have to check it out in the am to see.

  3. So I’ve been having this problem for a while now and Dillon said they don’t know what the problem is.

I usually use cci primers and I got a deal on federals. I thought this issue is with the primers but it isn’t. When the case goes into the priming spot and I go to seat a primer, the primer hangs up. When I seat the primer it feels like it has a hard time finding the primer pocket in the hole. Sometimes the primer is 1/2 way into the case and it gets hung up.  When I pull the case out, the primer is 1/2 way in and 1/2 way out.

then sometimes the primer will have a hard time going in but it does go in. When this happens the primer is slanted on one side like the primer wasn’t aligned.

I used the alignment tool and everything is aligned properly.

    has anyone had this issue?

Using LC '92 brass, Rem 7 1/2 primer, and 25.3gr Varget at 2.260" OAL has been MOA to sub-MOA in my rifle and wife/dad's rifles.  That's Sierra's accuracy load from the data below.  I actually did ladder test it with my rifle and that was the most accurate loading.  Then I tested the accuracy in their rifles and had no problem keeping groups just a little under MOA, so I went with it.

Thanks for the info and the serria page! My Lyman book is incredibly reserve and I don’t have a good chrono to measure rifles. I don’t want to get round really accurate but super slow.

  5. I’m hoping that it’s not as cheaply made as some of the other DAA products. I used to have a DAA mini mr bullet feeder and was very disappointed with the quality of the product. When I upgraded to the mr bullet feeder I was still disappointed with how cheaply things where made.

I guess I was expecting a little more quality for the price I was paying.
