  1. I've sold plenty of these lately for USPSA Limited use:

    69.jpg

They run, they are very accurate, they hold 17rds of .40 (or 20 with a Taylor basepad), they are affordable and reliable. They are also competitive out of the box.

so are they 17 round mags available and where can you find them for the cz tactical sport

  2. Cz Welcomes you all

I think my collection of CZ's is up to about 12 now, not including the rifles and the .17HMR I have is the sweetest shooting rifle I have found in a long time.

I know the trigger from the factory are not that great but you can do a whole lot with them, my production gun an 85 has a 1.2lb single and about 4.5lbs on the double.

The SA's and the 40S&W standard gun are pretty damn good triggers.

I just recived a PO1, all I can say is NICE.

Anyone have any good production 9mm loads? i am sure that is a topic for elsewhere.

I have been playing with the 147 Zero JHP and N310?

looking at the tactical sport and for an opinion on this gun

  3. can you explain I have no idea what this means

These ingenious little mag pouches can be configured to accept a variety of magazines - SingleStack, Para wide, SVI/STI wide, Glock, etc. That little black insert in the picture holds those skinny SS mags against the front wall of the pouch and are sort of critical if you plan on moving around, or even breathing deeply. They provide the friction that holds the magazine in the pouch. Without the inserts you can still run around a course of fire but will almost certainly arrive at next reload point only to discover you have no mags (trust me on this point).

If you plan on converting them when you get to a match and then find you've left the inserts at home, (insert forehead-slapping emoticon here), cardboard, humility and a fair amount of cussing will get you through the match.

thanks for the info i started laughing cause i can picture that scene

  4. A word of caution: Do not travel to a match planning to shoot L10 with those skinny little 1911 mags unless you bring the proper inserts with you.

If however you do, cut some cardboard (or targets) into strips about 2" wide and 5" long. Fold/roll on one end, flatten, cuss yourself for being such a forgetful pig, fold some more, flatten again and finishing cussing. "Drill" a hole through the ensuing mess with the tip of a knife and run the screw which should have held the intended insert through the hole. Install and tighten. Cuss some more as your friends make snappy comments about your Custom Mag Pouches.

Maybe I should have posted this under Match Screwups.

  5. Need help. On the advice from crspeed purchased the versa mag pouch so I could use for all divisions I may shoot.I cannot figure out how to set them up for single stack mags!Any help out there?

    I have the belt

Using my IDPA holster for now.

    Stuck on these mag pouches!

    Glad I got started early!

  6. Why is it worth the extra cost? You can buy 10 holsters for the price of one? The single stack rules explicitely state "NO RACE TYPE HOLSTERS." so the CR and Safariland holsters are out.

ps. I have measured the draw times to know they are identical in speed. I use the CR for my limited and open guns, but for the SS 1911, Sig 226, XD I use an Uncle Mikes.

So in L-10 you cant use the speed holsters ?

Of you are shooting a SS Uncle Mikes makes one for $15-20 that is just as fast as a race holster. The CR speed wears the gun finish less and works well also. It just depends on how much you want to spend.

So if I'm looking at crspeed pick one for me also safariland, for L-10. just want to look at some specific ideas. If anyone else has input some specific holsters please

  7. Ok I have my speed belt and mag pouches but chickened out on getting a holster.Rescomp had a few hi-tech looking items ans so did Safariland. I will be starting out in L-10 and the new provisional single stack division figure I can shoot both. HELP with the holster issue please

  8. Alright I ordered my crspeed belt and 4 mag pouches and I'll use my existing holster which is probably geared more towards this sport anyway than idpa.I have 8 ten round mags. and 15 eight rounders, does this give the option of shooting L10 and Limited? Is the only difference round capacity? I guess I could read the rule book but this is more fun

  9. Am an avid IDPA participant and would like to start shooting USPSA this summer and am looking for advice on a belt holster and mag pouches,I shoot a full size 1911 single stack .45ACP ( limited ten ?). I like to start with good equipment was looking items on this web site. Any advise out there?
