[Fine Tuning Svi Mags]

I have HS Smiths mags no jams,SPS mags some nose dives. Sti Mags one them nose diving. My only regret is Howard is not making mags. His were the best.

Yes they are/were. My open gun mags have not been touched since January,08

I try to use once fired only because of easy access however I'll load and shoot virtually any shot 9mm brass.

Unless it's steel or aluminum, I load it. 40 is a lot more forgiving than my 9 major stuff. I will say though I see more cracked cases in 40 than I do 9.

Thanks to all the crew for the hard work work putting on this match. There was nice assortment of stages all with a different flavor to them. The 5-6 man squads, 30 minutes a stage deal was a first to me and I really enjoyed it. Thanks again

Used Gunbroker many times over the years. Great place to at least grab a quick idea of value when you think you may have come across a "deal". As with any auction sight, common sense is a must.

Cost of brass would add up in a hurry. A reliable 10mm SS would be fine in SS. Finding a load that was major with a powder that somewhat fills the case might be a little issue. I certainlly would not want to shoot my "normal" 10mm load.

I use a safe sided file to do the squaring up part so that I am on removing material from the upper part of the lip and not the mag body. Take your time Manny and check fit often.

Being able to see through something doesn't make it soft cover.

The safe bet is to assume hard cover unless the stage briefing says otherwise.

Only asking about soft cover. Does declared soft cover start at the ground (even if it starts 3 feet up) and therefore acts just like hardcover? Or can I shoot under it? Perhaps that's clearer.
