It's the bushing. I recently had to fit a Cajun bushing to my Shadow 2 and the slide would get stuck open just like this until I gave the barrel more wiggle room to tilt.

A friend and I both have 9mm RIA Rock Ultras and we both exclusively use Metalform 10 rounders. I always toss the mag that comes with Rock Islands.
