  1. [Advertisement removed. Please read the Forum Guidelines regarding that activity, and where and how it can be done.] Thanks, ...Admin
  2. Anyone know if the Wolff high power springs will work with Grams followers? https://taylorfreelancestore.com/wolff-spring-for-3-to-5-canik-m-p-old-hk-vp9-p30-hk-45-140mm-extensions/ EDIT: Robin Taylor confirmed they will not work.
  3. Thanks! And sorry for the late reply.
  4. I designed a custom bench block for Canik. It will fit all Rival, Mete, Sfx, Elite and MC9. There are two pieces. The white piece is primarily for driving the trigger shoe pin from left to right. It facilitates: 1. Taking down the frame. All pins can be driven out into recesses without moving the frame. 2. Striker spring installation/replacement. 3. Trigger shoe installation/replacement. There is a raised support prevents the trigger shoe from moving and perfectly aligns with the trigger shoe pin. I'm interested to hear your thoughts. Here's a video:
  5. I have two Rival-S Darksides which I shoot in USPSA. I use TF +4 mag extensions. Mods are: FS trigger, W42 guide rod, 15# Colt Commander recoil spring, Glock FPS plunger spring and have the split ring fix. I have about 4,000 rounds through each. From day one, on chambering a loaded magazine (147 gn RN 1.125 OAL), the bullet will get stuck on the feed ramp and require a tap on the back of the slide. Otherwise, I've had no issues until recently. One pistol has started to lock back on partially loaded mags. I contacted Century and requested replacement mag catches. They have asked that I send the pistol to them and are willing to look at the other as well. I'd like to know what experiences people have had with Century's service of problematic Rivals - especially mag/feeding related issues. Specifically, did Century resolve your issue(s)?
  6. For follow up, the screw is M4, 12 mm. I got some hex head screws at Home Depot. The heads sit a little more proud than the DAA, but nothing significant. They are 3 mm hex instead of 2.5 mm and deeper so I don't expect them to strip. M4-0.7 12 mm Internal Hex from Home Depot
  7. Thanks. My metric allen wrenches are very good. It's the screw hex head that's a bit larger than 2.5mm. Thanks.
  8. Does anyone know the screw size/thread pitch for the DAA Racer pouch belt attachment? The 2.5 mm heads are prone to stripping and I'd like to find something better. I haven't heard back from DAA. Thanks.
  9. I wasn't impressed with the Lok Veloce "grippiness" - returned them. I'm used to silicon carbide I guess, but I hate the job of applying it. I'm back to Handle It grip tape for now - changing it every six months or so. Hoping the Lok aluminum grips have more bite. The brass are too heavy for me.
  10. It’s an interesting question. One could argue no FTSA as the target was made unavailable legally. Troy didn’t comment on an FTSA applying.
  11. The shot was ruled a partial hit on the first popper and both targets were scored as hits. DNROI supported the call. Here’s the video: https://youtube.com/shorts/YqqsHsxmJho?feature=shared I assume the RO saw the partial hit since the poppers weren’t painted.
  12. So I understand, a full diameter hit that strikes something afterwards is a ricochet and a partial diameter hit that does the same is not?
  13. I thought REF also. NROI cited: 9.1.5.4 If a bullet strikes partially within the scoring area of a cardboard or metal target and continues on to strike down or hit the scoring area of another metal target, the subsequent metal target will also count for score or penalty, as the case may be.
  14. I'd like to hear how you would score this scenario: One of two adjacent mini poppers is engaged. The round strikes the target and it falls. The round ricochets and strikes the other target which also falls. No additional rounds are fired.
