Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I'm pretty new to this site and still figuring out how to navigate around here, but I've seen quite  few posts of yours concerning the VR80. I have one and it's giving me a fit.  Shells stuck in chamber, not cycling, hanging up as a round feeds and leaves a gash on the shell when it does this, etc. Do you mind letting me know what you've done to get yours running smoothly?

If you've gone over this, if you can point me in the direction of your comments or videos I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks

First the basics -- out of the box they need one hell of a cleaning and lube (leave the gas system dry). They like to have the bolt/carrier run WET. You need to break them in with about 100 rounds of 1300 fps ammo. You will probably have issues during this, but work through it. I also took some metal polish and polished the bare metal under the gas piston -- not to a mirror, just slicked it up a bit. The Taccom buffer helps to run a wider variety of loads too -- and you can also try backing out the buffer tube a turn (maybe 2) as the factory buffer/spring setup kinda sucks and goes to solid upon recoil.

  2. Will the stock and most replacements parts from the M3K work on a Stoeger M3500? Trying to decide on getting into 3 gun and I have a 3500.
