when working on spring tuning go to the range set up to do just that not i think this feels better i will leave it. Target with tape lines ,springs marked ,calm and focused 10yds 15 yds , group size ect . take your time do a good job it will give you confidence in your equipment. Observe the sight movement calmly .

i count my shots my primers when i pick up brass ect my brain always wants to count i think this is a bad habit for shooting when you are suppose to be subcontiously shooting your stage, and bad when planning a stage.

My sig 320 legion 132 pf i use the hevier spring in my CK arms 172pf 14# just switched again from 10# again I cannot make the lighter springs work for me. at 10yds i have a 3-4" muzzel rise.

i just started having that problem because i am using small magnum pistol primers So now because the primers are harder they are not as easy to seat so now that i know to be more carefull when seating the primers feeling them seat problem whet away. i use socalled once fired range brass i do not clean primer pockets. Why are the light primer hits intermittant?
-
when you are practicing this make sure all tention in your body is gone face shoulders legs ect. focus on your hands.
-
I believe it all depends on your grip tried to do what the majority of the people here say 7-9 # and i am always going back to 13-15 # ?

thanks johnmyster for your diy scale made one and is piece of mind when changing springs.
-
you did not say if your problems were with factory or reloaded ammo?

I like the thumb rest for indexing and keeping my thumb off the slide. If i have any pressure on my thumb it would be unintentional inward pressure.

1.16 with both 115 and 125 bullets

because of the primer shortage i recently used small rifle magnum primers for my 2011 0pen gun and have noticed i have to make sure the primer is seated fully to the bottom or i get light primer strike. I think it is due to the primer cup being harder other than that they all seem to work the same.
