Your going to be OK John.
Just get your new rig, train, and hang with your mentor!
Welcome to ENGC and be.com!

The last American Rifleman had an ad for it.
That is all I have seen.
Looked like something I would like.

Great! Now I know I can never properly grip my hi-cap
with my short fingers.
I'd better check my single stack or chop some trigger off my
race gun.
Better to know than not though.

Revolved or Devolved?
That's pretty damned funny Bigbadaboom!

The great thing about GG was it was a people magazine...
The other great thing was that it rose above the tiresome "IPSC will get you killed" and like crap, the gun control debate, and Rambo wannabe nonsense - and simply advocated ALL shooting sports as legitimate recreational pastimes. BE, silhouette, SASS, you name it - it was all there.
No value judgments, no denigrating one discipline over another - just a top-flight production that examined the shooting sports in depth and in a uniformly positive light. Great stuff to hand to friends, family, and acquaintances who almost invariably found something to their taste.
I sure miss it...
I forgot about all of that. It was a good example for the non shooters.

The great thing about GG was it was a people magazine.
Guns are interesting but people on the cover of a gun rag
was a welcome change.
GG could still be on a good run.

I tried Titegroup this week in my 5" 45.
Nice and soft but jumps a little too much.
(This is a spring issue, I think)
The thing I didn't like was a huge case with a little dab of powder at the bottom.
One could multi charge this powder in a 45 ACP case easy.
I'm not done with Titegroup yet but I am leaning towards a little slower powder with more volume.
I may go full circle back to WST.

If they are really over crimped I 'd melt them back down.
Or like Alamo said shoot them up in practice.

One look at your avatar and I wish I were Jane!

And black socks too!
Those were good times back then.
Turning wrenches for my best friend racing all the
National MX and Supercross's we could get to.

Cool magazine. I subscribed untill it went out. I hope some one takes it over, They owe me for 6 issues for finding the hidden bullett!
Ivan
They owe me six more issues because I paid for them!
FM

It seemed to me the whole issue was geared towards
getting back to where we came from.
I enjoyed your article too, DP.

Hey FRONT MAN
does that mean you want to sell them all of to me ......or are you just bragging that you have them all and wont give them up......lol. if so,,,,,,,,im jelous.
lol
john442
Nope, not bragging.
They don't do me any good boxed away.
It is a shame we can't scan these and make them available without copy right infringements.
Which I didn't realize until Kimel's post.
I have a million Motocross magazines from the 70's to probably 1995 too.
It's late and FM has to crash.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.
All you guys with that fancy, schmancy S_I stuff remember this.
Anyone can win with an S_I, but you have to be GOOD to win with a Caspian!

The G Man ruined it for me.
Wish they could hire him as an advisor.

I have all but the last few issues filed away.
The one with TGO on the cover is almost priceless.
The soon to be President Bush was on the last one I have.

That was the day I was hoping to get mine given the weather forecast.
Watched the Limited last night and thought it was awesome!
I can't wait for the open and plan on getting the "World" next month!

I think we need to know if it is a comp or non-comp gun just incase.
Sounds like you are not caming the gun with your weak hand.
If the gun functions strong hand and weak hand don't worry about the guide rod spring just yet.
And don't PAY someone to change guide rod springs; you need to learn how to tune your gun yourself.
Welcome to be.com! Stay here and you won't be "D 4 Ever" for long!

About the same time Auto Week went from a newspaper format to a magazine format.
I miss the newspaper format of both.

Nice!
Very conservative with just a splash of color to make it a head turner!

Everybody and their brother and their dog is selling single-stacks by the truckload (to whom, I'm not sure, but selling they are). Given Caspian's OEM involvement in that business, I would bet they probably could move 10+ SS frames to 1 hicap, even if they had mags out the wazoo. I'd love to see Caspian mags all over the place, but business is business..
And it is HIS business.
Gary has to run it as he see's fit.
He has been self employed a long time; he knows how to do something right.

Can you imagine how much better the show would be if the consulted this forum?
FM
Well.... we'd be happy with it, but....
No one else would understand what we did!

Market timing is everything.
Excitment can be created with a carrot on a stick; but not forever.
Caspian makes me feel like a man without a nation, or what ever that saying was.
But I had all the magazines I needed before 09.14.94.

I hva just spent all but 4 hours out of the last 26 hours in bed or the bathroom.
I think I'm over it now but my back and hip bones are still killing me.
The good thing is I haven't eaten in 48 hours; I need to lose a little weight!
Hope none of the other forum members experiance this nasty virus what ever one it is.
