A buddy of mine just asked, "why not team up with USPSA or have USPSA take over the BE forum?".
We all know how successful the USPSA forum is.

For a Romeo 3 Max, go with a Double Tap or Cheely?
-
I guess I'll give the Outer Impact a try, as the R1 PROs are nowhere to be found.
-
-
Since I'm already invested with the R3M and no R1Pro are currently available, the alternative plate is the next step.
Plan B is a R1 Pro whenever they are available at a reasonable price. Optics Planet indicates 1 month to ship. Hopefully, they will forward a discount code soon.

Are there any other alternatives to the Springer plate mount for the Romeo3 Max?
My Springer mount for my Legion X-5 has less than 2K rounds and the mount lugs that hold the sight are almost gone.
Heard EGW has a mount for the X-5, but will it fit the R3M?

I do.
OK. Thanks. But the question is why?

It's the gauge...
Don't think so.
As I explained, I can resize a case, gauge it and it will fit. Then load the same case and it won't fit.

Sure sounds like the crimp.
Unless those are lead bullets - some of them can cause these problems.
Add crimp/remove crimp?

Which should I use to secure the plate mount screws on a X-5 Legion, red or blue loctite?

OK.
I was definitively confused, as I didn't noticed threads within the front pair of holes.
-
Correct.
According to the packaging, its a "SP0202 - X-FIVE LEGION ROMEO3 MAX MOUNT".

Springer Precision makes an adapter plate to mount the Romeo3 Max or RTS2, seems to work well on my Legion.
sdnok,
I just received the SP R3Max plate for the X-Five Legion (SP-0202).
During the installation, I noticed the hole patter in the back, does not fit the hole patter in the slide.
Did I get an out of spec plate or did you have to "fit" the plate to match the holes??
-
xdnok,
That's the combo I'm looking at, R3 Max and SP plate.
I was just wondering between the R3 Max and SRO.
-
I know this has been beaten to death, but, since the Romeo1 Pros are nowhere to be found, which is the better option, a Romeo3 Max or the Trijicon SRO?
A buddy that has done all the research indicated I can't go wrong with either.
What is the consensus?

Hey Big Guy
Yes I am gonna shoot the P320 X-Five Legion in CO next year.
I bought it before my current work trip and will send it to Sig to have the barrel replaced when I get home. I already have the Sig Romeo Pro 1 dot. I have done a lot of reading, and will be going with the GG Competition kit and possibly the Tactical Pontoon sear springs. I have 3 17-round mags (comes with the Legion) and will use the Henning +6 magazine base pads and will make a plan for my other 3 21-round mags, possibly the TTI +2’s if they work with the factory 21 rounders. I will work out having 6 reloadable 22-23 round magazines.
Looking forward to getting back into shooting next year when my schedule allows, but work is changing and I will be in Florida a lot the next few years. I will be making changes to my whole setup with an eye towards economy of motion being I have not shot for the past 18 months I feel now is the time to make changes like mag pouch configuration etc...
So there ya go
Z,
When in FL call me. We need to go do some shooting.
Also, why are you replacing the barrel? Is it because of the chamber indicator slot?
I was thinking on the Romeo 3, but still not sure.

I was a Shadow guy too, and hope my results and feel mirror yours.
I did just shoot Keres a few questions about integrating their with Gray Guns Competition kit and possibly a Apex trigger bar.
It seems the polishing and tuning of the Gray Guns parts are key (Seems Burke polishes parts as well as some welding), but I am looking to possibly shorten the trigger travel of the GG kit while maintaining their 3#ish trigger pull
zhunter,
I've been contemplating the idea of shooting the X5L next year.
Let me know which setup you have in mind. Which red dot?

I know we don't have to have bullseye accuracy for our game, but my gun is loose (25 yds groups suck). I'll probably will be looking to replace it sometime next year, but for know, I'm looking for a "temporary" solution.
-
Which is the better option?
Any one has experience with either of them?
-
Have an older open gun that I would like to tighten up a bit and thinking of going the Acc-U-Rail way.
Any thoughts?
South Florida Ranges that allow drawing

I'm in PBC, but refuse to go to indoor ranges. Been swept by idiots with guns mores time that I would like to. I believe there is one in Delray that will let you draw.
As for outdoor ranges, I go to OK Corral in Okeechobee. Its a long drive for you, but once you get Comp Park certified, you'll be able to rent your own bay (I think around $35, no time limit) and setup drills for practice. Also, there will be no range Nazis watching your every move.
