I would think you are better off getting one of those Lee APP and swage on that. Swaging on the 650 is too much stress on the press and shell plates. It's not worth it in my opinion
-
^^ This too. Decapping on any machine leaves a mess. If you don't run a dedicated press, like the above mentioned Lee APP, make sure you have either canned air or an air compressor to keep blowing it out.

I would hit up Bobcat Armament. Kimball has been getting machines in lately. They may not be for the specific caliber you want but if you have the dies already you can order up a conversion kit too. Not the most ideal but it may get you the machine quicker

Registered and squadded yesterday. I can't wait

I started on 2 LnL AP's and had then running awesome. Now I have 2 autodriven CP2000's and and auto RL1100.....an auto drive on a LnL is not going to end well. It's a great press but too much can break too easily. Same reason a Dillon 650 should not be autodriven.

Definitely hit up Will. He will talk you through it. For the brass shuttle, if it's hanging up just take the die apart and clean it up. That will usually do it.

I went with the boring bar over the end mill. From all the people I talked to and all the research I did that's what was suggested to me. No matter how good of an end mill you get they still dull out quicker then carbide blades is what I was told. We shall see

And yes. Armor all wash and wax is great also. That with the citric acid is what I do my final tumble in. I buy the wash and wax by the gallon on amazon as well for like $18

Did you make sure it was organic and non gmo?
I’ll have to grab a bag of that when the Lemi runs out. Lots of other good uses for it around the house.
Hahahaha. It's not organic but it is non gmo . I just checked becasue I was curious lol

I ditched Lemi Shine and just use citric acid. I got a 5# bag on amazon of less then the cost of 1 bottle of lemi shine and it is the same thing

Second the FW Arms decapper. Auto centers the case and pins are very tough

Look for the info on the switch and check out Digi-Key online. That's where I usually try to order replacement switches and stuff

I have searched the forums but so far haven't found a satisfactory answer to my specific question. I am looking to process high volume 223 more efficiently and currently use an RT1500 with 223 trim die, but have been considering getting the CP2000. I guess the question is, is there anything specifically that the CP2000 does that I couldn't do with an RL1100 with my RT1500? If not, it seems to make more sense to get an RL1100 so that I can load on it as well. Am I missing something?
You can swage in 2 different stations. You have the option for the 3rd station (like the RL1000) or the 7th station. So, if you're running automated you can run a pocket probe in the first swage station and swage in the the last swage station. This and the non-existent priming system are the 2 big differences.

Unfortunately it's not a joke. The prices on EVERYTHING are ridiculous right now. There is an Ammobot on ebay right now for $3500
-
Yea the owner of Mojo, Chris, sold the company a few months ago. Judge die is an awesome addition but if you are running it on an ammobot you also need the bedan sensor which you cannot find new due to Jason selling ammobot to Dillon lol

Primer availability aside, don't you need an FFL to sell re-manufactured primed brass? Anyone with a press can have a side business processing brass - I've been tempted to do low-volume processing just to write off some of my equipment expenses. But I wouldn't make enough money to justify maintaining an FFL.
I started doing it on the side recently. And just like your thought process mine was to offset the cost of my CP and ammobot lol. In April/May I am going to start offering primed brass however.

Great video, what are the ‘red’ pieces? One at the swage station and what looks like a camera near the last station. Thanks
One is the M7 swage sense and the other is the M7 bullet sense. Optional sensors for the M7 autodrive

Yes and keep checking Immortobot on a daily basis for a stock update. Follow them on FB too becasue Mark will post updates there as well. He just got some in a few months back and I didn't act quick enough and missed it.

I can't speak on the Surefire but my D60 runs great. No issues with around 1000 rounds on it.

Just started using the Hundo gauge. I was at about 4-5%. I readjusted my sizing die and am down to 2% on average. I would also keep a single gauge handy and double check your rejected hundo rounds in that.

I started 3 gun with a Glock 34 and now shoot a CZ. In all honesty, all the money you could (if you choose to) drop into a Glock, you’re better off starting with a steel frame gun.

I second the Invictus DTV.Qx20-lite. It’s a great rig. It’s comfortable, light, and quality just like all of the Invictus caddies

Taccom’s are great and they’re cheap if you’re just starting out. I would suggest going to a couple matches and trying different caddies to see what you like. If you gear hunt you are going to spent a lot. I personally run the Invictus 2.8’s and 12q and love them

+1 for the Cole Components. Great adjustability and nice weight for balance. He only releases a few at a time

Which press? All of the above links have some great upgrades. If you are on a 1050/1100, you can check out https://immortobot.com too.
