Picked up a S2 and I have found that mine also has issues with the auto forward of the slide a couple of times. So far i've been lucky and it has picked up a round each time it did it.

Do I have to worry about bringing frangible ammo? All I have currently have is FMJ

Will do. Looks like an early morning drive for me. How long do these matches tend to be? I imagine I should plan on packing a lunch.

http://www.cccsclub.com/2018_Sched_Of_Events.htm Has anybody heard of these matches? They list it as IPSC instead of USPSA which has me slightly confused. This would be a much easier drive for me than the front range. Otherwise Aurora may have to do.

Unfortunately my work schedule only allows for matches to be on either Sunday, Monday or Tuesdays.

Hi there, Just started doing a couple local unsanctioned matches and I am hooked! So far we've done two bowling pin matches and one USPSA style match. Took fourth out of 14 overall out of all the divisions with my 1911. Very proud of myself! Looking to try a sanctioned match. Looks like I may be driving to Idaho Springs. Nice to meet you all!
