  1. I have been trying to get a Casepro for almost a year. It is simply the greatest, and only machine that does the job with the 38 supers. I was able to borrow one from a friend and use it on my badly deformed 38 super brass and it really brought it back to life. I haven't had a single problem with my newly rolled/shaped brass. One thing it is supposed to cure is the lose primer pocket. I still find an occasioinal primer that is lose in the pocket. I'm sure the Casepro addresses that issu somewhat, but not completely. Afterall, while the Casepro represses and sizes the rim, it can only have so much effect on the primer pocket. But, in my opinion, this is the best thing since the Dillon press. I already have my order in with Lee, but the backlog of orders is a long one, so I understand. I contacted several companies about contacting Lee to see about marketing the Casepro. Lee may have to get a bigger garage... Thanks Alan, for keeping us informed about the Casepro 100. Randy Ikerman
  2. One of the problems I had trouble with is upside down primers that don't get rejected at the second rejection point at the clear plastic plate (A in this case). The problem was the clear plastic plate seemed to be warping or torking slightly upward, allowing the out of position primers to pass. I found a solution to the problem by inserting a small spring on top of the clear plastic plate and retained by the plastic cover. The spring puts slight pressure on the clear plastic plate to hold it down firmly, thus causing proper rejection of the mis-positioned primers. It is possible to glue the spring to the top of the clear plastic plate if necessary or convenience.
  3. I recently received my XL650 from Brian. It was almost a pleasure giving him my money. He made the purchase comfortable and interesting. He was very informative and personal and offered all the information I needed to make sure that I ordered everything I needed but did not duplicate. My order was shipped almost immediately and arrived very timely...almost surprisingly fast...and not shipping charges or tax! As far as the XL650 goes...I am making plenty of mistakes, but they are all leading to a thorough understanding of the machine and how it works. While I have had to work through a number of problems (the learning curve) I am extremely satisfied with the engineering of this great machine. Just like my Les Baer, the XL650 is better than I am. Thanks Brian!
