  1. Must be shipping day. I got my shipping notice today too. I was actually planning on calling and checking if I didn’t see something soon.
  2. Ordered. Now there are 6.
  3. Yeah, that’s not a bad price. I may have to go ahead and grab that. Thanks again for all of the input.
  4. Thanks everyone! I think I'll give the Romeo 1 6 MOA a try. It appears to be available now in several places. Is it usually not? I was planning on ordering in another month or so, but if it's usually hard to find, I may go ahead and grab it.
  5. Thanks! The Romeo 1 seems like the easiest path. It’s good to hear that you are happy with yours, Rocket. Max’s recommendation doesn’t hurt either! I was debating between the 6 moa and the 3 moa. Sounds like the 6 moa is the ticket.
  6. I’m considering moving over to CO in the next few months. I know that the Romeo 1 fits in the cutout on the X5 and SP makes adapter plates for a few other optics now. Is the Romeo 1 the obvious choice because of the fit, or is it worth the extra height to mount an RMR or something other than the Romeo?
  7. Memphis, Thanks for the feedback. The scoring difference is the main thing driving me towards major. My question is, does the additional recoil negate some of the benefit? Meaning, will someone be less accurate or slower because of the additional recoil? I do reload, so I can load near PF. I know that ultimately major is more competitive than limited. I haven’t seen much on the P320 being used in limited major, so I’m unsure of how it performs in that scenario.
  8. Thanks! That’s exactly what I was looking for. I knew I would need different magazines, but really didn’t know which .40 magazines would work with the X5 module. That is helpful. Now to decide if I jump to Limited Major or stay in minor for a bit longer.
  9. Thanks! It looks like the X5 grip module will be fine. I just need to lock down what’s needed with the magazines.
  10. Agreed! So, just to confirm, the 40 Full slide will work on the X5 grip module? What magazines? I’m assuming the 40 14 round magazines with base pads? I guess the 14 rounders are the same length as the 9mm 17 rounders? Just making sure I’m not missing something before I pull the trigger and order either the x change kit or a full size 40.
  11. Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I may finally be ready to move forward with the exchange kit in 40. So, if I’m reading this right, I can use the 40 slide and barrel on my X5 grip and FCU, correct? How about magazines? Also, I noticed that the x change kits run around $400, while a new P320 40 Full runs around $500 - $550. Any reason not to grab one and use the parts on the X5 and have the spare FCU?
  12. Appreciate the feedback! I ordered the 510C and I should be trying it out Sunday.
  13. Thanks! Doesn’t sound like it should be a huge issue on a pcc. With that said, is there a compelling reason to chose the c-more over the Holosun?
  14. Thanks. Maybe that’s what I was reading about losing zero.
  15. Hi, I just picked up a new PSA AR9 and I’m looking for an optic. From reading through this post, specifically the recent posts, I’m floating between the c-more railway and Holosun 510c. From what I can gather, the c-more loses zero sometimes? I’m leaning towards the Holosun, but wanted to gather some opinions before purchasing either. There is a ton of information out there, but not really finding a direct comparison. I guess my ultimate question is, if I go with the Holosun, are there some major advantages that I’ll be missing by skipping the c-more? The c-more seems to be the popular choice in Open and PCC, but I don’t see a good reason to not go with the Holosun at this point. Thoughts?
  16. Not yet. I got the shipping notice today. Should have them next week.
  17. Thanks everyone. I decided to go with the Palm Swell. I'll report back after I try them out. Thanks again!
  18. Thanks for the quick responses. I worry that the palm swell may not fit my hand well, but as you said, I can always sell them.

    Shadow 2 LOK Grips

I have no doubt that this will come down to personal preference, but I don’t really have the opportunity to try the different grip types out. With that said, my Shadow 2 will be in next week and I’m looking at ordering lok grips. I honestly have no idea if I want thin, standard, or palm swell grips. My hands are pretty average size. Is there one that seems to be more popular with the shadow 2 than others?
  20. Thanks for the replies. It sounds like either platform will be a solid choice and I’ll likely be the weak link. I had an opportunity to shoot my friends Shadow 2 yesterday and I was blown away. His came from CGW and it is sweet. Maybe I’ll grab a shadow 2 and shoot production for a bit.
  21. Thanks! I’ve been staying local so far, but do hope to make it there in the next couple of months.
  22. Thanks! I’m planning on attending some of the Sir Walter Raleigh matches in the near future.
  23. It’s a valid point. With my current level of knowledge - which is limited - I would probably go the custom route. I’m intrigued by the 2011 platform and if I stick with the sport, which I fully plan to, I see that as the ultimate goal. With that said, I’m also intrigued by CZ and could see that as a much cheaper entry into Limited Major, with the ability to recoup a decent amount of that investment when I’m ready to go the custom route. I did shoot my buddy’s Shadow 2 at the range today and it was sweet!
  24. I will definitely have to keep my eyes open at the next match. It sounds like there are more TSO/TS’s than I realized.
  25. I do hope that I can find one before pulling the proverbial trigger. I think I mentioned that several of the folks in my club shoot the Shadow 2, but I don’t think I’ve seen a TS or TSO. I will be watching for it at future matches.
