Since it appears to be the same as the Witness-P, the small pin at the top of the grip comes out and the hammer, strut, spring and pin comes out in 1 contoured metal assembled parts group. (Think of a Glock trigger housing) . But in full disclosure, I have not taken apart the P-match. I have taken apart the Witness-P. The pins look to be in the same place so I'm figuring the rest is similar.

1100 or 1187. Parts are cheap. Stock are cheap to cut on. Recoil is easy. Barrels can be bought for less than what it costs for chokes.

I had a friend that had one. Always felt "big" to me. Like something you held up rather than held on to. But I've shot a K80 for years so most other guns feel "big" to me.

I guess the key is access to shoots is what makes the membership seem worth the expense. If you're only going to shoot 1 or 2 matches a year, the membership doesn't seem worth it. If you can shoot 15 matches a year, the $40 doesn't seem too bad. I don't think the $40 is a deal breaker but I can shoot 70-ish matches a year if I had the time. There are plenty of things that you have to pay to play. I don't think $40 a year is completely out of line.

Rule changes are always met with gnashing of teeth and underbreath comments, because it's different. If you had started shooting IDPA with the 1sec/pd rule, there'd be no cursing because it was always what it was. Shooters will adapt. Top shooters will still be top shooters. Personally, I think it was done because spray and pray had become a match strategy.

I bought a P Match Pro for IDPA also. Have a Stock 3 also that would cover the USPSA angle....if there were any shoots around here.

I like the 90 degree mount for the same reasons mentioned above. Gets the window down and moves the body away from the ejection port.

I have the Viper. Took off a C-More to put it on. I liked the fact the Viper was lower (always seemed like I had to heel the gun with the cmore to see the dot). Went with the Viper because it had the larger dot at 6 moa. I did paint a white line on the back like the Venom though. I like it better than the fastfire 2 I have. I like that you can turn it on bright and leave it bright - no photocell.

I've loaded a good bit of Auto Comp. Have not had any problems with it.

While I don't really care for the slide cuts I suspect they're there for a reason.

I bought a P Match Pro in 38 super awhile back. My beef with EAA is they claimed it had an ambi safety (I'm left handed). It arrived without one. I called them, they said they'd send one out. A month later I called them again - they said "sorry" and that it would be forwarded to parts again. A month later (again) I call them again. Now they say it doesn't come with an ambi safety. I said that's not what their website said, they said it's been changed and I could buy one from them. I was ordering some stuff from another web site that had parts so I look on the EAA web site, get the part # (safety for poly guns) and order it with my other stuff. Gets here and it's the wrong safety. The poly guns have the CZ style metal tab that sits in a cut out in the frame, not the detent type. Apparently it's a -3 rather than a -1. Back to EAA to order a safety. Been 3 weeks now, have not heard anything on it yet. I've shot it just for fun and think it's great, but it's sitting in the safe as shoots go by waiting on a safety.
How is disassembly different than the regular witness-p guns. I bought one of those for $200 as a test - take it apart - don't bugger up the good gun - how does this thing work - mule and didn't think it was that hard.

I bought a 4" wide roll of rubber texture grip tape off amazon. Been cutting my own for several guns here and there out of it. I think it was 4"x 10 feet long or something for $20. Clean with lighter fluid, then alcohol, apply, heat with heat gun (gently). I always thought the skateboard tape was a bit too krinkly - like bending a piece of cardboard.

Practice. You have built your mental sensitivity around 6lbs. You need to retrain your mind to accept the new 3lb sensitivity. Eventually, you'll feel the 3lb as no more sensitive (to your brain) as the 6lb.

I bought one a while back. Did the dryfire thing with it some. Was picking up me racking the slide sometimes (like mentioned above). I'd have "scores" of 12 and such mixed in with the 88's. Tried it live fire on a P-07 before it got cold outside. Apparently I have a REAL problem with breaking my wrist down....as that's all it said I was doing wrong over about 40 shots....no matter how hard I tried to keep my wrist straight. I even took a few shots with my wrist angled up purposely to see what it said. If you're real new I think it's worth it. If you can consistently put holes in the X ring during practice I don't think it's going to tell you much. Not to mention it hanging off the front of the gun means any holster practice is out.

Back when I shot a lot of trap, I read a book called "Winning sure beats losing, and here's what you can do about it". Was written by a team psychologist for a sports team (Yankees or something...can't remember). Basics of the book was one of those zen type things - whether you think you can or you can't, you're usually right. He said pro baseball players go up to bat really believing they're going to knock the cover off the damn thing every time. They may not, but they don't go into it thinking they can't.

Grip is one thing that cause shots going left. I know it happens with me when I get tired - sight alignment is off to left and I know to clamp down harder with weak hand. You adjust on the fly. Trigger finger placement is another cause for shots left. The first You Tube is Pat Mac and the second a nice overview.
I just bought myself a year's streaming subscription to the Pantaeo....guess I know which one I'm watching next. I'm left handed and seem to always go low right. I figured I was pushing with my index finger or tightening the bottom of my grip.

I've used a good bit. Never had a problem with them. Still have a bunch around. Bought them on sale at Cabelas also - $20/1000. I also run across CCIs on sale occasionally for $26/1000 or so - and I prefer to buy them when I get the chance.
