  1. +1 for going with a .40. You’ll be able to sell it to a broader market, if you ever decide to sell it. Plus like they said you can load it for either major or minor. I just got my Titan a few weeks ago. Their customer service has been great!!

  2. I started out in carry  optics classified B from the gate (61%),not really knowing what was going on in the sport. At the end of my first season, i took an RO class and everything clicked. I decided to switch to limited/major for better points per hit. Had to figure out how to shoot with two eyes open moved from C to B and on the brink of A class. I started listening to Steve Anderson’s pod casts and bought his dry fire book (Refinement and Repeition). The book consists of classifier skills that you build upon to get to where you want to go.

I've seen it, as a CRO at an area match. Seated loaded table start, all mags on table. Maybe 3 or 4 people didn't load their gun at all.

I guess according to this thread I shouldn't have started them?

I would imagine that it relates back to rule

    8.1

Also wsb is read for every competitor before the 5mins is started at a major. They also have the ability to read the wsb for their own benefit.

We’re good on the clarification about cocking the hammer and engaging the saftery while the gun is holstered. Disregard the other part that was extra

    material that was not relevant

  5. So I read most of this and it’s all the same back back and forth argument, but I want to know the definitive ruling about the following.

Under the make ready command - shooter cocks hammer and turns the safety on without drawing the gun. The shooters hand never leaves the gun and the gun never had a mag Inserted. - is this a dq?

The gun is now ready as if they were ready to start the course of fire, but is simply making ready and taking a first sight picture while drawing on the first target they intend to engage once they load the gun and assume the ready position.

I have an STI trojan in .45 and I have many Wilson ETM mags (Like a dozen) and they all feed all ammo perfectly. I would exchange them and try again. Also one thing to try is to load and unload them to capacity 6 times before using them, as sometimes that settles the Spring and follower. I have to do this with my MBX 2011 mags, never had to do it with the Wilsons, but worth a try. Have the mags been loaded and unloaded 6 times each yet?

I have unloaded them and reloaded them. I’m going to check them in my buddies 1911 and see what happens.

What issues are you having with the magazines?

They will not chamber a round when I load the magazine and rack the slide. The bullets nose dive into the feed ramp. If I load the magazine with the slide locked it will chamber the round more constantly but not always. I have 8 mags and it does this between all 8.

  8. I’m having an issue with Wilson Combat ETM magazine (8 rounders) not functioning properly when they are loaded to 8 or even 7 rounds. I did the load and unload several times. Let them sit for  2-3 weeks loaded with 8 rounds in them. Is there any other suggestions. I reached out to Wilson and they offered to return them for a credit (which i don’t want to do yet).

Im using factory 230gn federal syntec, 230gn white box Winchester, and reloads. All same issue.

Using a STI Trojan. Gun runs the my buddies ETM mags flawlessly loaded to 8 rounds.

    Any suggestions?
