Pretty much any movement drill will lead to positive results. Get after it!
I support this.
I also noticed in practice that you can sprint as hard as you want, but if you're not exiting/entering your positions efficiently, you're actually losing time on your movements.
Try different things on a timer, see how it shakes out for you.

Something tells me the top of the gun isn't getting THAT hot.
I'd try a new screw.

That looks solid as hell! Great work!

This is good to know. Thanks for sharing!
I've been contemplating picking one up. This might push me over the edge.

2 or three 3/16" popple holes just forward of the barrel nut should do it.
Should look cool in low light, too.

To answer your question, OP - Not that I'm aware of.
You can maybe find a used one that's already been done, or have a stock trigger tuned up.
It's worth it once it's done, though.

What if we just make PCC shooters all use loundeners?

Yeah, I'm way late, but this might cure the issue for others with the OP's problem: Primer Catcher
Ooh, I like that.

Turned out real good!

I never noticed any issues with the scales. I think you'll be alright.

JL is a very common name in car audio. They're known for sound quality.

This is a bump firing issue. It is well documented over the last several years that it can happen with this trigger if you don’t have it firmly against and pulled into your shoulder. It happened to me once or twice when I first got the trigger when shooting prone. I didn’t have the gun very tight, so when fired the super short reset on the trigger allowed the gun to fire again. The trigger is NOT faulty. You will have to just hold the gun tighter when shooting it.
Buddy of mine was doing some rifle shooting in an awkward position one time and didn't have the rifle shouldered very well. Let off a nice burst. Everyone at the range stopped and stared, it was kind of funny.

Dremel with cut off wheel, or belt sander holding the screw with a pair of pliers is much faster.

Yep. If you're good enough you don't even need to chase the threads with a file or a tap.

This looks like fun.

A lot comes down to stage planning. And know how your going to shoot the stage. I still mess up on that as I have a plan, then shoot it and then see a better person shoot it see a angle that I never saw. I hate going first.
Don't we all...

Okay... That's pretty cool...

Camera solutions aren't that expensive. I think they're only ~$50 for everything.
Oh really? What kind of set up are people using for this?

LOL! I try very hard to keep clean hands - almost to the OCD level.... Latex gloves help.
They do indeed!
Pumice soap for the rest.

I'd cut slightly oversized with small hacksaw, grinding wheel or cutoff wheel or similar - measure twice cut once.

Random can cause issues if something pops up after you hit the button. 1-4 seconds is more than just “ I heard somewhere”. It’s in the rulebook:
.3.3 “Standby” – This command should be followed by the start signal within 1 to 4 seconds.
I now know that it's a rule. But when I was new, I just remembered overhearing it, and it seemed reasonable enough, so I set my own timer to delay and got busy practicing.
The first time I was asked to help RO, I was just tapped to help because I'd been shooting for a little while. Now I know better.

When I first started shooting, I heard somewhere that you should give 1-4 seconds before the start signal. As such I set my personal timers to a random start between 1 and 4 seconds...
At this point I have enough reps with this configuration that I'm conditioned to hitting the button and letting the timer do the work for me. Any time I hit a timer button and it immediately beeps, I think "aw shit." - After enough times doing that, I make sure to determine how the timer is set up before running any shooters.
-
Those are some good points. I think as shooters, we forget we're in control of the situation.
One of the first times I helped RO at a local, I accidentally quick-beeped a pretty good local shooter. Felt pretty bad, but lesson learned....
in your opinion...
