The shape and contour of the grip of the P10 series are amazing, the only thing that puts me off is the super slippery grip... Tried talon grip, had to replace it every few months with intense dry fire training every day... just too much hassle for me. If CZ comes up with a grip texture like Walther PDP, I would switch from S2 to P10F in no time
Give a look to the “Handle-It” grip brand. Much grippier than Talon. Durability is decent as well.

I like the 9am start. Much more civilized than putting gear on by flashlight before the sun rises.
I also like that 9a start. They’re able to get split squads done with daylight (usually), so it works out fine imo.

Did anyone predicted JJ dropping out from the match? Anyone know what happen there?
On a side note. It is interesting to see the person promoting and pushing an alternative competition league/sport is still shooting the USPSA nationals... Why do that if USPSA is that bas as a sport? Or if it is not bad - why do we need another sport? His barrel cracked/broke. Backup gun’s barrel was cracked/broke in the weeks leading up to the match is what I hear.
Beretta seems to have some serious metallurgic problems.

Yet another RO that doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Shocking.
is 100% not an issue to do this.

A nationals event should NEVER be located more than 90 minutes from a major hub of the largest air carriers.
NEVER. Absolute deal breaker. It makes the air travel so much more expensive when there’s limited capacity and competition on the routes.
-
This has been my experience with most MBX mags. They’ll load to capacity… but you need a 9 major Barney round to get the slide to cycle.

Don’t see much reason to run a rifle length.
but an A5/Intermediate with the blitzkrieg 5020ss hydraulic buffer is

Anyone making a slide racker plate for the CZ or CZC optic cut?
Would like to try to use my Czechmate for LO ll, but still have the option for open.

There is no reason to have a printed magazine in 2023.
If a member can log on to vote (all elections online now), there’s zero reason for the expense of the print magazine… other than to spend money.

Wow interesting, your the first person I heard that said that.
Maybe your buffer tube was slightly undersized causing the flatwire to run or something? I dunno
Could also be the coating. Dry film lubricant vs just plain ol anodizing.

It sounds like the aversion is to SAO guns.
Perhaps we should make a rule against them… or require a drop safety. That would take care of the situation far better that a pull weight restriction ever could.

Insults never advance your opinion.
Is there any long term professional shooter who has never been dq'd ? Things happen when fallible humans seek maximum speed.
Of course there are “long term professional shooters” that have never DQ’d.
There are also C class folks that can’t keep their finger off the trigger and the muzzle pointing downrange at any speed.
The trigger pull weights of either of the aforementioned competitors would have little bearing upon their likelihood to DQ. You’re going to see 180’s far more than you do ND’s.
The top level competitors also have much better bearing on their physical limits and don’t often exceed them at major matches. Can’t say as much for a lower level competitor in my experience.
I’d be far more inclined to wear a plate carrier RO’ing a local club match than I would the super squad at a USPSA major event.
Stop trying to blame gear for shooter incompetence.

This thread makes me think USPSA should have a minimum trigger weight. I can't believe people would take this kind of risk for whatever minor performance improvement they think they're going to get from that.
You must be super fun at parties.
My CZ Czechmate and all mu PCC’s have sub-1# trigger pulls… not an issue.
If you’re not safe with your gun handling… the pull weight it kind of irrelevant. And if you are… the trigger weight is a nonissue.

Interesting. My EGW CZ TS plate was exceptionally tight.

I look at the Kynshot buffer this way…
Sub-140PF loads:
My goto is the 5020ss in an A5 tube… but you could opt for the 5007 if you wanna stick with a CAR tube.
140+PF loads:
5015HD in a CAR tube
Spring selection then determines the feel.
I use the SpringCo orange for most application… but an XP AR15 spring could feel better for you… springs are cheap. Play around with it and your particular load… don’t sell yourself short bc that’s what some dude on the internet said to use.

But. Why?

On AR15.com there’s a 7 page thread on these
one thing that was mentioned was preloading the buffer made it easier rack
which I kinda took as they rotated the buffer tube 1 turn in to force the bcg to slightly force the buffer open
Sure. But that means you’re also partially depressing the roller.
Kinda defeats the purpose of having a RDB.

Doesn’t particularly look all that much lower… and for an aluminum plate… I’ll take all the threads I can get!

You dont reload, so you think you are confined to minor PF? You can buy factory Major PF ammo too though, if you didnt already know.
This is also true. The Czechmate works with almost any of it… since it ain’t got popples

Sorry to hijack. Do Czechmates run 9 minor with the comp or only without?
They can run it with. At least mine could.
How high is your red dot mounted?

Lower 1/3rd cowitness height is the highest I’d use for competition.
I have no issues with absolute cowitness height either. Most of my defensive AR’s are this height. Unless you’re using nightvision… not much need for higher than lower 1/3.
