  1. Food: When shopping at the store, try to stay away from the aisles, shop on the outside of the store. (Meats and veggies)

    Don't eat until you’re full. Learn to moderate. At the end of the day lowering your calorie intake is the biggest factor.

     

    Training:Just get started, you have to make time. And accountability is extremely important whether it’s with family or a friend. If you have the money invest in a trainer they are experienced (most of the time) and will start you at a level that is appropriate for you.

  2. It’s important to note that stretching before a match should be dynamic stretches not isometric stretches. As in you should be stretching through motion, do a few reps of slow squats, deep lunges, etc. You can google “dynamic stretches” and try them before your next match. Isometric stretching has little to no benefit especially when held longer than 20 seconds and should NOT be done before a match.
