  1. That's why I linked to the product. The description says it extends RP9 magazines to 140mm.
  2. I didn't see it posted anywhere, but TF is making 140mm extensions for RP9 magazines. http://taylorfreelance.com/shopping/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37&products_id=270
  3. I have 5 RP9 mags and they work better than the stock magazines. I hope to get to the range this weekend. If I do, I'll check live ammo for setback. I have no feeding issues.
  4. Oh, I don't know. The right mag, under the right circumstances... http://www.gunsinternational.com/guns-for-sale-online/gun-parts-accessories/clips-magazines-rifle/lahti-m39-ww2-20mm-anti-tank-rifle-10-round-magazine.cfm?gun_id=100689391
  5. They should work, but will be longer than 140mm.
  6. Must have missed it. $15 at Palmetto and $16 at Buds currently. I agree with user that said the finish is a bit rough, but for a you can't beat the deal for something that works. Too bad Dawson quit on the basepads.
  7. Those are the 18 round mags with plastic base. The part number is different. 17795 vs. 17794 for the correct part. They are available as low as $25, but the basepads is more likely not to work in the magwell. If you don't have a magwell, you are better off with the $15 RP9 mag.
  8. The best price I can find in stock is around $45. The 4 or 5 places that have the are all listing 20 in stock. If I knew which distributor they are using, I might be able to buy them for a bit less. I think the baseplates might clear the stock RI magwell.
  9. I'm fairly certain they are the same as well.
  10. I'm going to modify the follower on one of RP9 magazines to try and correct the last round feeding. I'll post the results, put I'm not going to be able to get to the range for a couple of days.
  11. Do Dawson extended floorplates for Para mags fit the RP9 magazines? I have the magazines, but all my floorplates are STI.
  12. Tested 11lb recoil spring yesterday. Seems to be optimal for my A2 TCM Target.
  13. I bought 5 and they are excellent. If somebody could try out different basepads on them I'd be real curious as to the results.
  14. Just found out that my example of the TCM Target will accept unmodified STI mags. They all fit and drop free. If it was just a little more accurate with the 9mm barrel it would be a great gun. That and it only feeds certain pointy FMJ's. That leaves me in a tough spot. Should l accept it's limitations, or send it down the road? Would calling Armscor be justified?
  15. A stronger recoil spring has improved feeding in my unramped Target model, at least with pointy FMJ's. A 12lb spring fed 100% from all 5 Remington mags with exception of locking back on the last round. That is just the follower. The 12lb spring is a bit too much for light loads. Brass trickled out and more than once landed on my hand. The 10lb spring didn't eliminate my failures to return to battery. I will have to order an 11lb spring.
  16. I can't argue that some coaching would be beneficial. No doubt that heavier guns with better triggers help minimize shooter errors, but they do that for everyone. Likewise, everyone has an alliby they like to use. I know that the guns being hard to shoot because it doesn't fit well is pretty common excuse, but the only place my hands would be normal would be the NBA.
  17. It looks like the Remington magazines will take standard para base plates. Also, the springs really long and so strong, loading is a pain. I'm willing to wager that a +5 extension would not require a new spring.
  18. More than a quarter of an inch. I have a couple of pictures that I might be able to post this evening.
  19. More than a quarter of an inch. I have a couple of pictures. Maybe I can get them small enough to post after I get home from work.
  20. Having trouble hosting the pics. Maybe somebody could rehost. I'm going to sleep. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=125876538021799&id=100017983605641
  21. I will this evening when I get home from work.
  22. Remington RP9 mags work great! Better than the factory magazine. With the plastic baseplates it fits in my Target model like it was made for it. I can't speak for the factory magwell guns, but the magazine body is about 5mm longer than the RIA factory magazine.
