I agree that you wouldn’t be able to a stand alone slide for awhile. With the S2 so new, all the manufacture will be devoted to complete pistols. You could always contact CZUSA though and see what they say.
I sent CZ an email through their contact form. I think you guys are right though.

That was funny.

Yeah, getting incorporated now.

In the thread he says he does not compete with the gun that has accelerator cuts.
Edit: Hmm, reading through maybe he does. You could always ask him. he shot Area 8 and a few others and if allowed there then it is good to go I would think.

So I am wondering if you can just get the slide for the S2. I would love to be able to get one for optic milling, one for just black sights for practice. That way I can swap out slides for what I am doing/shooting instead of having multiple pistols. It is a relatively new pistol though so not sure how feasible this is (or the cost). Anyone have any idea?

I kept most of mine. Some (Like the Glocks or the cardboard M&P ones) I got rid of.

Red Hill tactical, Bladetech, lots to choose from.

What happens if you mount the thumb rest to the grip?
You can mount one and find out.

The grip yes, you want a change to the frame forward of the trigger. I would assume it is not allowed.

I am not a high classified shooter so keep that in mind. I plan my reload points during my walk-throughs. I also know from that how many make-up shots I can afford on a string before I go to slide lock. That is all I do.
Now as I said I am not a great shooter so more than a few times I have been caught doing a flat footed reload due to missing targets (Most small steel) too many times.

Tried the Dawson Precision and they would not drop from the gun with any consistency when empty. Some older Dawson Precision mags a friend has dropped fine, but the new style don't and by style its mostly cosmetic but the tubes are just slightly different.
Picked up some Tripp Research mags. They drop well when empty but I'm having feed issues. Installed a EGW mag release, switched to a different projectile (sharper nose) and the seeing fewer FTF issues. Currently working on increasing the COL.
Ah I was wondering if I was the only one. Seems to randomly not drop at times once empty. Lock back is also an issue randomly.

Olympic shooters shooting a USPSA built pistol (CZ, SIG, etc) or a custom bullseye one? I have my doubts too. I think those that could do it would be phenoms for sure at 200yds.

Wow, and I thought I was pushing it on too many matches..

I could have done without the whole Lewis (PTSD Vet / McVeigh Clone) storyline myself.

There is a classifier calc on the 'Classification Records' page. Calc icon on bottom right of that page.

that feature will be on the new site, just not part of this phase of the release
great, thank you.

They need to make sure this goes back up. How else are you gonna know how many times people are reshooting classifiers to grandbag?
You can look up other shooters if you know their USPSA number. It is on the Classification record page. Just replace your number in search box for theirs. Still no way to look up based on name though.

I've always just put partial mags back on my belt. But then again, I walk right back to my bag, reload mags, and leave them there. I don't carry around the mags until I'm a couple shooters away on the next stage. As long as you stick to a process, whatever that process might be, you should be fine. It's when you deviate or get distracted...
This is what I do. Once I shoot I go back and fully load all mags, double check them, then leave in bag until I am on deck. Then I check them again when putting them on belt.

Damn man, nice!

Hit up Bob/RHT. He sometimes has holsters on the "shelf" so to speak. As long as you are not picky on colors.
-
The range I use (NRA range) allows draws from holster and has no limit an rounds per second. So I practice '2 reload 2' a lot with a 2/3 target. I do accuracy training with a full size target as well. I am about to add in more dot torture though.
The downside is using a timer to do anything but start/par times. too many comp'd ARs or Mosins that will screw the times up. -
Glad it got cleared up, thanks!

I had thought they count the best hits on paper. Meaning the hard cover Mike would be ignored. Am I missing something?
