i really would like to be able to run an 80% glock lower with the good stippling and better grip angle in CO but guess i can't because they don't make complete guns.  So, given i already have a built-out 80% with aftermarket slide, red dot, trigger, etc, thinking about just buying the zev oz9 lower (grip and modular build kit).  has anyone done this and seen whether (or not) a glock gen 3 slide etc (or aftermarket) will work with the zev 'lower'?  zev says they cannot guarantee the two work together.

Yes, the modular build kit will work with any gen 3 slide. I have a full size OZ9 and put my gen 3 34 slide on for USPSA and 3-gun competitions.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks cheers, they must have just updated their gun options. The Oz wasn’t available last time I checked. Do you have their vice model? I’ve been wanting to try one, but leery of the price tag.

  3. I’m sure I could modify a holster to make it fit, but not sure if that would make it useable with the 34.

Wanting to know if anyone has one made specifically for the OZ9? Or knows of a company offering one that I wouldn’t have to send my pistol to?

    thanks

  4. I second the Harris and Sons FF-20s. I have hearing loose from years of neglect/military service and these are the only ones I’ve found that amplify sound in a why that I can hear similar to my normal hearing aids. They also come with 3 custom settings for different range scenarios. I didn’t think the Bluetooth setting would be necessary, but it has turned out to be big plus as well imo.

Carbon arms is currently out of stock in my belt size. Does anyone know if another dealer carries there belts ?

I don’t think anyone else carries their belt. If I were you I would consider Weber Tactical’s new belt. I think they developed it with Carbon Arms and it also has a ratchet strap. Just a suggestion, it’s the belt I am buying next.

I'd like to see how it holds up as a slide rider if someone could make it fit. Is it about 1/2" longer than the Cmore?

KC Eusebio uses one on his carry optic OZ9. Looks like they have a slide cut for it.

Or something defective.   My 2.0 is as bright as any of my Holosun sights (over a dozen), my former DPP, my Trijicon RMR and my Cmore RTS.

Thanks for posting the pics. I like the size of the window...it reminds me of the Sig Romeo3xl

Is dot on the 2.0 does appear dimmer in the pics. Is that just the settings on the mrds’s or the camera angle?

Is cole components still operating. I want one of their blue anodized stocks but they are never in stock.

There website shows 2 black ones in stock so I think they are still operating. You may have to wait till they do another run. Try emailing Cole, he was very responsive when I bought mine a few months back.

Love my Cole Components stock btw. It replaced my Luth-AR stock and I find it much more adjustable while still being very comfortable.

  9. Thanks for the responses guys. I’m in southern VA in Hampton Roads area. Closest 3-gun and USPA I’ve been able to find is in Richmond which is about a 2 hr drive. Definitely willing to go farther.  I’ve been thinking about venturing down into North Carolina.

  10. Long time listener, first time caller here.  Finally shot my first couple matches last month. The first was shotgun only and the second was 3-gun. I had a blast at both and can now officially say that I am f’ed because it’s all I can think about. I’ve already learned a ton from searching through old posts and look forward to picking the brains of all the seasoned members of the forum.
