Can anyone point me in the direction to buy a factory Benelli M1S90 mag extension barrel clamp? Brownells is out of stock. Andy

I found pad 10112 (Ithaca MDL37, Rem 700) which is almost an exact fit except for the holes. Two new holes and it fits perfectly. Andy The Benelli pad was not even close to my M1S90 non-pistol grip stock

Mine has the sling mount in it.

I really want a replacement pad, not a slip on pad. I guess I will just ahve the local shop order me one and hope it is right. Andy

Is the part number 10401? I says that it is for eveything but the M1 tactical. Is the tactical model the pistol grip M1 or just the regular stock M1S90?

I am looking for a new recoil pad for my M1S90. Any reccomendations as to what to get. I really like the feel of the limbsavers pad, but I see that they don't offer one for the M1S90. Which oad would be the best fit? THanks for any opinions. Andy

I purchased a customer take off mag extension a little while back for my M1S90. I was under the impression that the factory mag extension should be flush with the end of my 18.5" barrel. My mag extension extends about 1/4 of an inch past the end of the barrel. I know it won't hurt anything but just for looks I am not to hot on it. Is what I have a factory Benelli extension? Is there anything that I can do to shorten it a little? Also, does anyone know where I might be able to get a factory benelli clamp because the one that I have is too large for the groove on the extension. I have also attached a pic for the shotgun. How long should I cut the magazine spring on my M1S90 with a 7 shot tube. I was going to start out at 12"past the end of the tube and go from there but if someone can tell me a specific length it would be much appreciated. Andy

Instead of welding I decided to bevel the edge to 45 degrees adter talking to benny hill on the phone. Here are the pictures for Ibritt and anyone else interested.

In order to get to 9 nine rounds in the gun to start instead of using a 22-23 inch tube I was planning un leaving the 18.5" barrell on my M1s90, buy an 8 shot extension from benny, and ghost load the 9th. I am real new to the sport (haven't even shot a match yet) so I am welcome to suggestions etc. lbritt, I can post a picture of my epoxy trial run to make sure I filled the right part of the bolt carrier and that it actaully works when my wife gets home with the digi-cam tomorrow. I can post pics of the weld job next weekend then I weld it.

does welding on the bolt have any effects on the hardness of the bolt, etc? Are there any special procedures that need to be followed? I have a MIG welder and it would be very easyto fill and smooth that little groove. What is the best way for a DIY to refinish, maybe some cold blue or is there anything better?
