I have looked at the B&P slugs but am not really crazy about spending $140 on a case of them not knowing if they will run in my M1. I need to find someone that will sell me 5-10 to try out. Until them I am using Remington managed recoil with 100% reliability.

I have only shot 1 match and the slug target was at 50yds. It took me 5 slugs to hit a spinner which has really lit a fire under me to improve that area. How does you POA/POI look at 25 and 50yds with a 100 yd zero? With slugs being $1 a pop and only 1 shop sells them locally I want to get every pro and con I can before I start sending rounds downrange on Friday.

What would be the ideal range to use to try to zero my Benelli M1S90 for slugs? Would 50 yards be a good compromise between long and short range targets? It has factory rifle sights so I can drift the rear sight for windage, and as a last resort I can gently file them if they are off by a great amount for elevation. Has anyone here successfully shimmed an M1S90 using either M2 or custom shims? Does it cause any issues with the tail of the bolt riding in the recoil tube? what modifications need to be made to the pad side of the stock to allow for adjustable drop? Thanks, Andy

Will the Nordic extension for a Benelli M1S90 fit on the factory barrel nut? I would like to raise the tube capacity from 7 to 8 but would like to keep my factory nut because I am in process of making a sling adapter for a QD swivel that replaces the factory sling adapter on the nut. What is the highest round count per stage for shotgun? If I can make it Saturday I want to make sure I have enough 4-shell carriers made.

What is considered to be a good size pattern? If someone could give am an approximate size for maybe 10, 15, 20 yards it would really help me. I have never shot at steel so I really don't know what it takes to knock it down. Andy
