Hi,
I have heard conflicting statements about the starting set up for a CZ 75 SP-01 or similar type of hand gun for USPSA. Does this have to start hammer down for a double action pull for the first shot, or can it start hammer back in the holster, single action for the first shot? I have been unable to find anything in the rule book.
If it is to start hammer down, since on certain guns, there is no de-cocker, this requires a manual dropping of the hammer with a round chambered. This could result in an accidental discharge and injury. Obviously striker type guns do not have this issue.
Thanks.
