Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I'm thinking of picking up a another 1050, and I need an additional carbide 223 trim die.
  2. Change your top index speed to have it pause for a second to let the index happen before the down stroke.
  3. Do you offer the 10% military discount that Dillon does, or do I still have to purchase directly from dillon for that?
  4. I process bulk for people as well, and would not own the machine without the sensor. I did originally and had tons of issues. If I get a batch that has been deprimmed, I turn the sensor off. Between the decap senor and the swage sensor, I know that every piece of brass is decapped and swagged properly, and do not have the issue of a ringer advancing to the next station or causing jams, dented brass, or indexing problems.
  5. Personally I wouldn't use the machine with out the decap sensor. They shouldn't even sell it without it.
  6. What version software are you running? The clutch settings vary depending on the software as they made changes to have the clutch respond differently. I have to check mine, as I typically do not change my settings but I run mine very low 0-3 maybe. Do you have the decap and swage sensor?
  7. Mine is still working good, did another 5k of blackout with no issues. If I have another issue I will upgrade the pawl as well.
  8. So I tried the fix the other thread mentioned using a fiber washer to take up the slack. It took up the slack but created to much friction for the spring to overcome. So I took the pawl to the grinder and put a slight edge on it to make it slip into the index hole easier. I have done about 4K of rounds with the shell plate tight like it should be without a single issue and no case mouths hitting in the Swage station.
  9. I agree, it seems as soon as I getting it running with no issues something else comes up a few thousand rounds later. its a great setup when it's running right, but the down time and constant adjustments are killing me. I was thinking of picking a second one up but need this one to run with no issues first. i
  10. I didn't do the fix yet, but I checked it this morning to confirm I have the same issue as the thread I found. The index arm is not centered in the index hole and us why the paw is not grabbing the shell plate. In these pictures you can see the arm is tight up against the bolt, but if I touch it it has a gap. When I apply pressure to it, it aligns in the hole correctly.
  11. Found an old thread on here about multiple people having the same problem with similiar pictures. I'm going to try their fix for it and see if it works.
  12. Adjusting that only advances the shell plate past the correct spot, even then it still doesn't grab the shell plate to index. If if I back the shell plate retaining nut off to where it is too loose and sloppy, it will catch and advance.
  13. Is there a way to adjust the index? What it appears to be doing is not indexing enough to catch the shell plate when the shell plate is tightened down correctly, if I keep the shell plate loose it will index, but seems to be off a bit and is damaging case mouths in the swaging station as the plate is not fully indexed.
