They do plan on producing them in .40 as well but I wouldn't expect that until at least 2018

That would be nice, I guess it depends on if their lead time is actually a month like their site says. I may go with someone local instead and cut that in half so I can start training with it.

Nice I'm glad to see they're starting to ship. I've called all around Utah and none of the dealers here have heard anything Has anyone tried using the X5 on current p320 holsters? Have a belt and Magazine holders purchased for it but not sure what I'm going to do about a holster yet.

Things seemed to have gone quiet, last positive thing we heard was reports of it shipping in two weeks which would have been around the 7th of April. We're not too far past that but with not a peep out of Sig I get the feeling something has delayed it once again.

I'm curious about this as well, with the current shortage of Romeo 1 optics and from what I've heard the DPP doesn't have the tendency to wash out on sunny days like the Romeo 1. We probably won't know until these are out in circulation and a 3rd party like Springer Precision builds an adapter plate. I've also heard there is supposed to be a new batch of Romeo 1 optics out in May, if that's the case are these Gen 2 where the dot brightness may be increased to be on par with the DPP?
