  1. Yep! I've been running .357Sig in a P320 for a while now, love the cartridge (especially over here where we cant really have .40 and larger).

I guess I figured that since he sold the gun with 4 mags that they were the right ones for the job (hence my confusion trying to figure this out).

Mystery solved - its always the simple things that get you!

  2. Hey fellas,

I have been shooting my 9mm TS for a while now, love it. I recently bought a used .357Sig TS, and am having a bear of a time getting it to feed (nosediving etc). The mags it come with are marked 9mm/.40 on the basepad, and have a different follower to my newer 9mm mags.

The 9/40 mags nosedive with more than 8 rounds in them.

The newer 9mm mags can only fit 7 in there (being capped to 10 rounds of 9mm, thanks Australia).

The most success Ive had is using the newer 9mm follower and spring in the uncapped 9/40 mag bodies.

Now, to the crux of my post. I contacted the Australian CZ importer (where the .357 came from originally..), and asked whether the dedicated .40 mags would solve my problems. These guys sell converted .357 TS's, so should know for sure. I couldn't get a straight answer; just that more .40 mags would be in stock in X weeks.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are any follower/mag lips/spring differences between the dedicated .40 mags, and the two types I have already. Id hate to drop $400AUD on new mags and have it not solve the problem.

    See pics below:

Fingers crossed you guys can give me some advice and that new mags are all I need!

  3. Hey guys,

I've been running my TS for a while now, and love it to bits. My only problem is the trigger pull being too light for my tastes.

As she sits, it is right on 1.1lbs. I've been shooting it like this for a little while now, and its fine, but its making it a harder transition when I go to shoot my 5lb+ striker guns.

I pretty much got the gun and installed some CZUB bits straight away. Mods that could affect trigger pull are:

    CZUB Alu trigger.

13lb Mainspring (although Ive already put the factory back in, which made no real difference to the trigger weight).

The only thing I can think of, is that the CZUB Alu trigger might change the geometry of the trigger return spring?

Anyway, Id love to get this up to 1.8-2lb if possible. Let me know if you have any ideas fellas, the help is appreciated.

  4. Just wish they came in blue

"We made a limited run in Raw. If you desire your CZ TS grips to be anodized RED, BLUE or BLACK.. contact me for arrangements. Be aware that their will be a $5 fee and shipping delay."

    :goof:

My TS with a few mods.

Man, looks great. I had a hell of a time finding people that had put a thumb rest on their TS, and now they are popping up like crazy. I've seen this one twice, which thumb rest is this? I'm running an IPSC Alex and this looks like it may be a better fit. Great job on your TS!

    Cheers buddy,

Its the Advance Ratio XCEL Thumbrest - http://shop.pbaimports.com.au/handgun-parts/frame/advance-ratio-xcel-czechmate-tactical-sports-thumb-rest

I wasnt nervous at all when I was drilling the frame ... :surprise:

  6. Hennig, nice looking gun.

    Thanks fellas,

I missed out on one of the 3 TS oranges that came to Aus, so I thought I'd try to make my own red version; without the frame mods.

An orange in .357sig (which is what we get over here) is still on the list though.

I happen to know some are at customs. Also you guys just got a batch of my holsters.

Great, just when my bank account is looking barren after setting up this TS haha. 8 week old babys dont do much for the old gun fund either!

  8. Thanks for the heads up.

I ordered a bit of gear from there last week, and arrived on Tuesday.

    I got:

    - factory profile trigger

    - short grips

    - mag well

    - SS guide rod

    - f/o front sight

    - 13lb recoil spring

    - main spring

    - some buffers

Shipping was the same price. I'd post pics.. But apparently I can't post links yet haha.
