Thanks for the feedback gents. I've got some auto comp and WSF I'll start with. Never seen N320 in my town, hate to order single pounds of things just to not like them... and never find them again.

Maybe I missed a thread with this info already, so point me to it if you know of one please. In the past I have used Universal Clays (now called universal) for +P loads and general practice ammo for 9mm, running 124gr Montana Gold HP's. Great accuracy, almost zero muzzle flash. The powder changed from the factory a year or so ago, after not being available for over a year. The color of the powder itself is even different. Phone call to the factory and I was told that the plant had a fire, but they matched the pressure and velocity, with no regard to muzzle flash. So I am looking for a replacement powder that is somewhat available. Tried Power Pistol, Blue Dot, HS6 with pretty decent muzzle flash on all three. I like to be around 1200FPS with 124gr bullets out of a G17. I'm seeing various things on the web (scary right?) Ramshot True Blue Ramshot Silhouette Winshester SuperField (WSF) Any experience with the above? Or other suggestions?

Anybody found anything that stipples better then Devcon Da290? It works great for a grip reduction but stipples poorly.

Former USMC SS, currently a medical professional and small time 'widget' inventor when I can. Invented the ALS Nub Mod for Safariland holsters. Been a big hit with the LEO and mil guys. Don't compete much but shoot a lot for my own training. Like Glocks, shooting steel, practical yet physically stressed training conditions....
