I'm a lowly B class Limited shooter and 57 yrs young , It would not scare me to take on any USPSA shooter that I've seen to date, reguardless of name or class standing, in some distant shooting of any kind or a few runs on my crow rack .

I have 4 10mm bbl's for my Glock-20's and [2-40 conversion bbl's] they all will run 40's just fine , no difference in reliabilty or accuracy .I can load 10mm to minor, major or super major and I load 40S&W to minor or major ,long or short it doesn't matter.Same bullet diameter as most everyone knows . I shoot Open,Limited,L-10 and Production with this same platform, very few problems[except old age] over the last 3/4 yrs .

I won't fly at all and would not fly with Guns on a bet !!

you could always help out by doing the match reports ?
-
I would like to try that time period . I always thought I was born a little late myself .

The first thing I think of anymore is the"Rule Book" ,getting Thicker every year . Loads of good people in USPSA !!!

I have 3 Leupold Gilmore dots and have never had a problem with them. They are about 6 years old. I am glad you posted about a problem with them. Were they newer models?
The Ultradot might be good on an AR. You don't need a big dot with your face anchored to the stock.
Yes they were bought in the last two yrs . I have always used Leupold pistol scopes on the big boomers and not many problems ,Both dots were taken out on 10mm set ups ? Not a big boomer in my book .

The Rule book has become a problem for alot of us,every few years we have to deal with a new one.The one purposed for 2008 has raised lots of issues.I dropped out of the RO pool because of health and rule book issues,I'm just tired of dealing with every Tom,Dick and Harry's version of this or that rule .I still help out,but not as much as I use to .I'm a Glock-20 shooter with a 40 bbl ,L-10,Limited and Open .I will probably just drift into other shooting games that are not so rules dominated as I have played all the shooting games for 30+ yrs .It never ceases to amaze me how the shooting sports contunue to shoot theirshelves in the foot time after time !!! Sorry for the Rant .

I'm the one Kyle refers to in his post .The Ultra Dot L/T has alot of good points, lens size is larger than the Dr's ,Optima's and J-Points ,its more in line with the C-more,it has alot more size and heft to it,dot brightness is good,Lens quality is Exc. ,but its only a 4moa ,the Hunters and Bullseye types will love it ,a little small for the speed game .I had some problems with durability, their Warrenty is exc. I'm working on the second one now .I will use this one on a hunting set up .I find the dot size to be the major problem for our game .I suggested to their Reps. that it would be nice if a 6 or 8 MOA be added to their line .
As Kyle stated I have serious issues with the Leopold/Gilmore on durability ,but I will not get into that here.

Mark,
I think its mainly the scoring difference ? I shot Production for awhile and taught myself to shoot A's .It seemed to work out fine when everyone is scored Minor .

I'm in A-class in L-10 and every time I do a comparision of my match scores , I lose 40 to 50 points when I shoot minor over major, now thats just me .I have compared some other shooters in my area that do the same and it seems to run about the same for them .

I have one of each, they always come in handy .

I had good luck with Metelform mags, from Brownells 620-010-008 10mm,8rd, rounded metal follower and they came with screw on basepads .Worked flawless in my Kimber 40 cal. I could load long or short,no problem.
