  1. Awesome data! That list is exactly what I needed Its hard to imagine a time before the internet Thanks all
  2. I personally can't stand the stock 75/sp-01 triggers Unless your sold on that D/A S/A SWITCH TO A SINGLE ACTION TRIGGER!!!! Shouldn't cost more than 50 dollars and can be done in minutes. With pre travel and over travel adjustments set you will have a new gun. I agree on the magazine springs (plus 10%) My stock sp01 springs seemed very very light. nose diving did occur Something you have probably checked but disassemble and take a look at your recoil spring Make sure it doesn't have any burrs or unusual bends. Wasn't on a CZ but I received a pistol with a kinked recoil spring one time. Either way your gun should run 100% out of the box If you have time you could even let cz take care of it for you It's billed as a go to war pistol so problems should not exist.. IMO
  3. Awesome responses I can't imagine a time before the Internet and forums for information. Took the plunge and czechmate should be here this week. Sounds like I'm gonna have to spend a lot more time pulling the handle on the old Dillon Thanks again to all for the info.
  4. Hello all I recently upgraded to a czechmate and I have some questions about loading major. I have been shooting a CZ TS for years with Barry's plated bullets (124s) I have excellent accuracy and they are a dream to reload. Recently reading there website they state that the thick plating on there loads will stand up to major power factor velocities. I wouldn't mind switching to another bullet but I have THOUSANDS of plated on my bench. My concerns would be... #1 can I safely push these to 1450 fps (124 grn RN) #2 will they be accurate at this velocity #3 will I be able to load them long enough to keep pressure level safe? I am always curiose why I don't see more berrys's plated at matches .... Is it accuracy. Or am I just behind the curve I have read a lot on here that the czechmate have a shorter chamber than say a STI Someone with czechmate experience in major 9 would be a gold mine of info to me. Thanks in advance Levi

    9mm load for TS

I use 3.8 grns of titegroup behind a 124 grn berry's 1000 FPS up it to 4.1 to make minor reliably btw i run a 10lb recoil spring. This load is very accurate for me.
  6. Hello All Currently I have been shooting in limited for the last 2 years and have a blast. In my humble local club matches In the tri-state area I consistently place top 10% But lately i find this desire to move over to open division. For those who shoot open i have a few questions... How long does it take to get acclimated with a red dot/C-more to become comfortable with it? Loading 9 Major... It seems to me that people spend considerable amounts of time working out the kinks in there new open gun regarding this load... Is this problem over stated or is it a real challenge? It also makes me sad the my favorite powder (TightGroup) will no longer be able to be used.. From the outside looking in it seems that open division is the top tier of the sport... Now dont get me wrong, i know there are some fantastic limited and production shooters but looking at it from afar it seems to me at least that if i want to grow and compete in a more competitive game orientated division that open is it. I started with a CZ shadow then moved to a tac sport in 9mm and .40 then to an STI and finnaly back to a CZ Tac sport.. This being the case i would most likely be purchasing a czechmate for open.. I guess my mane concern is that i will spend a Ton of money only to get the same amount of enjoyment as limited.. Looking forward to hearing from those wiser than I Thanks in advance Levi
