Wow I am idiot... right under it clearly states Competitor may begin on either side of the barricade. Good lord. Can you tell I am amped up?

OK here is a noob question. Is there a penalty for shooting the right first as it states in the procedure to shoot the left targets first? I may have missed it in the conversation, but I didn't see it.
