Ok so I have tried electronic ear protection, moldable ear protection, and plain old plugs. The problem is the electronic protection for me are to tight and to hot. Everytime I went to a match it seemed that between the heat, and pressure they just weren't comfortable. Usually ended up with a migraine so bad I had to leave.
Then I tried some $25 moldable in ear protection, that weren't very comfy. And didn't seem to protect very much. But they were tolerable. Then while sifting through YouTube I found a review from 3M. It was for their Combat Arms 4.1 in ear protection, and thought maybe?
So I picked up a pair I paid $30 some dollars, most of it for shipping from the UK. When I got these home I tried them on, and WOW! They were super comfortable, but I hadn't taken them to a competition or even the range.
Today I went to the range and all I can say is WOW! They were very comfortable to the point of forgetting about them completely. Except for my ears weren't ringing. There are 2 separate modes, one that seals like a standard ear plug, and one that is a little more passive. I had 0 issues hearing talking around me, and the protection I have been looking for. There were about 6 other shooters in the indoor range and these ear plugs were spot on.
In no way am I a GM or sponsored, nor affiliated with 3M. Just want to share my experience. For the average shooter that doesnt want to spend hundreds on protection this is for you. Here are some pictures.

Just picked these up 3m Combat Arms 4.1 so far so good, super light and barely noticeable. Will report after I hit the range. First impressions GREAT!

3m Combat Arms 4.1. Just got these and so far so good I will report once I wear to the range, but seem pretty effective and very comfortable. And the best part $34 shipped. Half of that shipping from the UK. Report coming soon. The things fit great and the toggle switch is easy.

Are you shooting Buckeye Blast?

Not sure because I haven't used a metal grip yet, but the magwell seems to steer the magazine correctly, bypassing the opening of the grip. Meaning not making contact at the opening of the grip, compared to other brands that seem to blend to the bottom of the grip. Hopefully that makes sense.

I finally had the chance to run it this weekend, works as designed. No issues and helped with my grip as well. Mag changes very easy.

No problem iirc I was on Atlas guns sight and he had a steel magwell, not sure what grip it fits, plastic or pt evo

Dawson is the silver on the right 3rd pic just for comparison

Limcat, available and weighs in at 4.9 ounces. Only drawback is you have to use Tti, or other low profile pads. Other wise feels great and works as it should. I have small hands and it helps push my hand to grip, also feels good with the weight in the grip (plastic).

The frame would most likely fit but you'd have to stick with the built in magwell

The msh is contoured to the magwell.

Anyone have information on how to adjust? Just picked this up and love it, but my polymer grip pistol is very loose. Thanks in advance, Kevin Kissel
