    AXG Pro?

I think I want a plastic grip for this one.

    Another legion?

Don't want the extra weight plus I want a rear sight dovetail.

  2. Ok so I have two 320X5 Legions I use for IPSC and like them very much. Enough so that I would like to upgrade my bedside gun (currently a gen 1 M&P with irons) to a 320.

This will serve as a bedside gun / timmy face shooter gun.

I see now that Sig has a crazy amount of options in the 320 line up, so much so that I thought I would ask here as I'm sure some experts know the line up well.

    Here is my want list:

    Full size 4.5-5" barrel

    No LCI cut

    Optic Cut for delta point

    Rear sight dovetail on slide

    "X" grip module

It looks like the P320 RXP XFULL-SIZE would fit that list but I don't know if it has a LCI cut or not, can't find anything on the SIG website to say one way or the other?

    Anyone have on?

  3. I’ve been away from the reloading world for a bit, I have a friend that’s getting started reloading, I went over tonight and got his 750 with bullet feeder set up, he’s got everything pretty squared away except for a primer tube filler. I have a rf100 and PAL filler that’s 10 years old so he can borrow that for as long as he wants but we are wondering if there is anything else on the market these days.

I tried the DAA primer pro when it came out and couldn’t get rid of it fast enough.

Because I found they wear fast.  Sprinco is a much better quality spring as is ISMI.  And the 12# sig spring is not 12#.

Just as a data point, the 12# springs that came with my Legions wore out almost instantly(1k rounds) but I replaced them with the same sig part and they have lasted since(I have over 20k on one of them and still has lots of lock up pressure. I think Sig might have gotten a bad batch at one point.

  5. I'm keeping my 1050 with mk7 auto drive mostly because I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up and more so fine tuning a new press.

Just wanted to say that idea to put the dial indicator on your last stating to measure COAL is brilliant! I am jealous for sure, I would have to use a seat/crimp combo die(which I probably wont do) to do it on my press but I would like more info anyways? Is this a thing that can be bought or did you have to make it?

  6. Ok, so this is a dumb question but it's been on my mind.

I'm looking for a good shirt to wear at matches.

I've been a sponsored shooter for the last 5-6 years and always had a jersey. I'm getting out of the sponsorship thing(I hate social media part) and need a shirt that is good for matches.

I'm a tall guy and always liked how long the jerseys were, never had any issues with them coming untucked.

Looking for suggestions on what works well for you?

Basically would like a long polo style shirt with similar fabric as a techwear jersey.

They should be fine after they are broken in.

Not going to lie, I doubted this when you said this but after 30 or so dry fire sessions mine do not come apart anymore.

I've not been a fan of some of the products DAA has put on the market lately but it seems they have a winner here. I can be pretty aggressive with slapping the mag and pouch and have always had issues with my front pouch eventually tilting back but these Xi pouches have been solid.

  8. I got rid of mine a few months ago and went back to my RF100, so glad I did.

I tried all the tricks and fixes that have been posted, some made it better short term but noting helped for heavy use. Seemed like a full time job trying to keep up with the press at 1200rph.

I'm sure some have had success but I feel this has been a big let down from DAA.

  9. I myself have a FX120 scale since I have a precision rifle back ground.

However I have a good friend that's getting setup to reload 9mm on a 750 and needs a scale. He has no intention of ever loading anything else and probably wont.

I'm suggesting a digital scale rather than a beam scale mostly just for the time savings.

Does anyone have any experience with sub $100 digital scales that would work well for the purpose?

I just got these and My back insert kept coming out today in dry fire. Super annoying. I’m using the thickest spacers with mecgar mags. I’m wondering if using the medium thickness would help. These seem amazing until you go for an aggressive reload and parts go flying. Grr. It happened more with one mag. Guess I’ll call them tomorrow.

I have this happen with the medium insert, let us know what they say!

Not sure where you got that info, but looking at this pic USPSA put up from the 2020 nationals, he’s clearly using the older X5 upper. You can tell by the optics plate.

    Is that a factory barrel?

How is that possible? Even with no spring tension, I have to give them a good shove down to remove them...

it seems to depend on the mags, I shot open with 2011 mags and never had it happen once in 5 years. Changes to production optics with a sig and it happens to me sometimes.

  13. I have two guns set up like this, about 3k on one gun and 15k on the other. Trigger pull was increased about a lb in my two guns, both coming in at 4lb to the center of the shoe.

Might have made the "feel" off the trigger pull slightly worse but it did do what I wanted and move the trigger shoe forward which fits me better.

  14. Think ahead of where you want to be set up in 5 years? Do you only want one press and mostly loading 9mm? Get the 750.

The 550 and 1050/1100 combo is really nice to have. Crank out 9mm and 223 on the 1050 and have the 550 for doing odd stuff and load development.

If you have plans to automate you will want a 1100.
