  1. Nice, glad to hear it.
I have two of the CMR-206 (green laser) and love them. Nothing like starting off a stage from the hip! They're low profile and have held up well so far. I like it for several different situations and I just use whatever dot my eye sees first (red for sight, green for laser).

    My favorite start position. Lol

The 5.4" barrel seems to make finding a correct holster tricky... only suggestion I've seen is the NERD Coffin holster but I think they're either discontinued or just been sold out.

I've honestly never used NERD or heard of them previously so I was wondering if there is anything else out there?

I have a rht level 2 holster for sale for that pistol.

  3. I just bought a STI Marauder and need a holster. Should I get one with or without a retention hood?
I've been using a 1911 for 3gun without a retention hood and have had no problems.
But I see more people using them. What are the pros and cons?

I have a red hill tactical level 2 holster I’m going to be selling that will fit your pistol.

  4. I am not convinced the VG6 comp is the best for my application, and I don't thinkI will modify it.
I may try some others later.

I made the comment to my buddy last night about how I need to work on pulling in tight, because I am so used to shooting my s&w 15-22, it has made me lazy.

I was running the FSB, I switched to the vg6 gamma and noticed way less dot bounce. Everything can very per load and carbine configuration of course

  5. Great choice. I’ve had my TTI M2 for about 5 years. My favorite loads are Winchester AA 1145 or white box 1180. Learn your chokes and you will shoot fast.

Btw, I shoot my TTI ultra lite 14.5” out to 500 yards.

Shotguns are a whole new world to me. Is there specific chokes to use that you can run birdshot and slugs through?

  6. Not too bad I guess.  If it was going to be super long I was going to suggest contacting Aaron Hayes from Hayes Custom guns.  He is a team Benelli shooter with awesome work on M2's but I do not know his lead time.  The Taran stuff is squared away as well!

I know a couple of people with Hayes m2’s. They’re pretty nice.

  7. You might want to check the rules for where you plan on competing. My local matches use UML rules, and the only difference between limited and tac-ops is the rifle optic vs rifle scope.  Factory allows a max of 8, but in UML "limited" allows for whatever length tube you want.

Also, my place doesn't have shots beyond 100 yards... no need for some fancy expensive scope for that.

Sweet thanks. Yeah, I already have a razor hd on my ar so I think I’m ok on Optics.

  8. I’ve shot uspsa for about 6 years. In that time, I’ve shot 2 3gun matches with borrowed gear. I’m thinking next year will be more dedicated to multigun. I’m cover with my rifle and pistol I think, but I don’t have a shotgun. What is the shotgun to get and why? Please don’t just say “versamax” or “m2”. I want to know some features and benefits.

Did you buy the Blitzkrieg buffer, 308 spring, spacer and wave spring as an assembly, or did you have to machine some of the parts yourself?

I pieced it together. One of my buddy’s cut the delrin spacer and gave it to me. Bought the wave springs on amazon.

Thank you. I was going to order a 10 and 11 but I can’t find a black guiderod.
