  1. So I have the factory gen 3 handguard I pulled off my mpx. Thinking about selling it because I got a lancer. I can’t find a value anywhere online for it. Any ideas of what I should list it for? If this post should be in a different thread, feel free to delete.

  2. Wondering why the long handguard on advanced tactical say it doesn’t leave room for the comp? Maybe this only applies if you did not cut down the barrel shroud. The one with “holes” instead of “slots” looks like it may block the gassing through the handguard. Anyone have one of these yet?

The shroud is your handguard nut. It’s uses the threads. fc1337e59b5cdc05a4bcad124afd9650.jpg

  3. Anyone with the 19’s have an issue getting shells past the “clamp”? Mine get to 12 rounds and stop. I was just going to push something through to bounce the spring and lifter back and forth. Try to smooth out whatever is catching

I used my 2011 mag tool to widen the mag. Worked after that.

  4. I have a VR80 with in excess of 1,000 rounds through it. Magazines for the VR60 and the VR80 are identical. The buffer system is carbine length (commercial) but can be converted to mil-spec. The buffer is proprietary, and is not interchangeable with other buffers. The VR80 buffer has a portion of the buffer that extends into the rear housing so it will remain in contact with the bolt carrier. Installing a aftermarket buffer will leave a gap between the bolt carrier and cause the carrier to hammer the buffer until it fails. I contacted Advanced Tactical and suggested more buffer options and they liked the idea and stated they would forward the request.

Have you looked at the Taccom Vr80 Recoil system?

  5. Im wondering why ... The thread are out there under the shroud. I wonder if it's because of the handguard nut. If you cut a shroud down it should be fine

Yeah maybe I’ll just let it show up and see what can be done with it.

  6. Hello: Load 115's to 138- 140PF and don't look back. Tite Group, Clean Shot, N320 all of these work great. Thanks, Eric

Yeah my load chrono’d in my Pcc at 156pf. But it also is at where I meet min pf through both my pistols too. I really don’t want a separate load but if it’s gonna have issues with tg, then I will setup a second tool head. I do want to stick with 124 so im not buying multiple projectiles.

  7. So I’m currently loading 124gr rn at 1.125 oal with 4.0gr titegroup. A buddy has had some issues running titegroup through his gen 2 sbr. I just bought the new gen 3 Pcc and I’m curious to what people with the new gen 3 are loading with. Thinking of trying out some other loads but I’ve never loaded anything but titegroup.

  8. How long did it take to get a confirmation??  I ordered some 19 rounders when they were in stock and have not heard a peep about them shipping.  I have emailed sales a couple times to see if I actually was lucky enough to get a couple but no answer yet.  Frustrating and terrible customer service in my opinion!!

They emailed me saying they were busy with the nra show.

Email them at sales@advancedtactical.hs-inbox.com make sure to include your order number.

  9. Just got two 19 rd mags from advanced. I can finally go to the range and do some videos

I finally got a shipping confirmation this morning for mine. And I ordered them the same day that they got them. Seems that they misplaced my order.

  10. So if I’m not mistaken from reading the above posts, the Gen 2 has done issues and if I’m looking or an MPX I should be looking for a Gen 3.

To my understanding, sig has taken care of the major issues on the previous versions with the gen 3. I’m gonna give it a shot. If it ends up being a turd, whatever.
